Location, quiet interior, secure. The staff in the building across the street were very nice and helpful as were the cleaning staff.
CanadaGreat location. Steps away from the Riberia and close to all attractions. The apartment building felt like a fortress - very safe, secure and quiet. clean and comfy, and room service was prompt. The highlight is definitely the free breakfast buffet! it's in the restaurant inside the nice hotel across the street, and features quite an amazing spread of drinks, fruit, egg, meat, pastry, etc. If you don't book the room with breakfast included, the breakfast can be separately purchased but at 25 euro per person!
United States of AmericaThe apartment is very clean and well decorated. The beds were comfortable and it had all the amenities we needed. The breakfast is at the hotel Carris just on the other side of the street, and it was an excellent breakfast!! we enjoyed a lot!

Czech Republicthis property is like a block from the Douro river and I could see the river from all the room windows of my apt. Apt had all things you need for your trip. the wifi is weak and each apt has its own wifi and still weak. outside of that the included buffet breakfast included everything 3 kind of eggs, waffles, pancakes, crepes, 7 kinds of bread, cereal, fruits, bakery , mimosa bar, juices, nespresso and ofcourse the local custard pie. you check in at the hotel and they are very nice. the wifi is better in the hotel lobby which is across the street.

It is just a block from the river, very walkable with many wonderful restaurants nearby. It met all of our criteria for a good nights sleep. Comfortable bed, dark and quiet. This apartment is affiliated with the Hotel Carris right across the street. The staff at the hotel was gracious and helpful. They booked us a wonderful tour to the Douro Valley and secured transportation to the airport at a very early 4:30am.

Located within the historic Porto center, Apartamentos The Arc Carrís is a mere 2-minute walk from Ribeira, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The luxurious apartments are set in a renovated historic building, just 2,300 feet from Aliados Avenue and a 5-minute walk from São Bento Train Station.All apartments feature an elegant décor, while still maintaining some of the classic features of the original structure. Each offers free WiFi, a flat-screen TV and a seating area. Every unit has a private bathroom, air conditioning and a full kitchen, which comes equipped with a dishwasher and a coffee machine. Some units also feature a balcony and/or panoramic views.
