This is one of the best location you can get for a hotel in Otaru. Just across the street from JR train station / bus terminal / taxi station. Close to all the key attractions in the area. Plus they also have an elevated parking garage that you can park your car securely overnight, etc. (pay parking) Excellent facilities with in house natural hot spring well done Public bath with indoor and outdoor onsen and a sauna plus cold water bath that is comparable to some onsen hotels. Onsen alone is worth the money.

The quality of the room, in general, was awesome. The staff was, as expected while in Japan, top notch. Though it was great for both sexes, it's more catered to women. It was akin to a spa experience. It seemed as if the customer-base also understood that, as most guests that I saw were female.

Quick walk to the ski resort. Very clean. Yes, it was an old folks home at one point- but on a positive note, wide doorways sure made it easy to transport luggage and ski bags! They do have a very basic ski room at entrance, but more for just skis/boards and poles. I brought soft gear to my room and used very large bathroom to dry and hang gear. Restaurant is amazing! Included breakfast is great. The dinners I had were amazing. Staff is very helpful and kind. Laundry room- wash is free and dry takes about 300 yen (100/20min.) Sauna seemed new and very nice. Bus stop right across the street.

Not too far from the station, had an onsen also in the building, and plenty of free space! Felt very homey.

Just a 10-minute walk to the Asarigawa Onsen Ski Resort, Asari Classe Hotel features indoor and outdoor hot-spring baths, an indoor pool with a hot tub, massages, indoor tennis courts and a sauna.

The entire experience was incredible! The rooms, the animals, the people, the food, the location, everything! can’t recommend Hopi Hills Farm enough if you find yourself near Kiroro. We were there on a ski trip and it is super close and convenient to the resort! Snuggling baby goats, delicious food, and even better company…what else could you need?! We all already plan to come back some day!

Allen is a great manager and he has kindly solved my problem. This is a bit far away but definitely a fantastic place to stay. Meanwhile, please order breakfast and it's just awesome.

Jozankei Onsen Yurakusoan features a spa center and free private parking, and is within 17 miles of Sapporo Station and 20 miles of Shin-Sapporo Station.

Oh my gosh.. where do I begin. A beautiful ryokan with both public and private onsens with fantastic winter views. Dinner was a huge kaiseki meal with sashimi, steamed seafood, beef sukiyaki and various appetisers. The rooms and the entire resort was elegantly decorated at every turn. The best part that topped off the day and experience is the ramen offering at 10pm for supper.
