Pretty much the perfect overnight. Lovely interactions with our hosts, a sweet and superbly kitted-out space, warm, safe, cosy, right there in among the animals and rocky lumps that make up the Clashnessie landscape and community. Couldn't have been bettered, and thanks.

This was such a welcoming place, with a fun sign and thoughtful little welcome touches both outside and inside. There was plenty of space, and although we were only there for one night, we would have happily stayed longer. The harbor views were beautiful, and the location was excellent, right next to a pub with good food and a nice atmosphere. Parking was easy as well. One helpful tip is to turn on the hot water heater as soon as you arrive, since the water takes a little while to heat up. Other than that, everything was fantastic, and we really enjoyed our stay.

The host/owner is a great communicator (easy to talk to, prompt response, etc.) that we had no issue arriving and picking up the key. The property is next a restaurant, the parking was well labeled, and the room was spotless and well furnished. It was like a home away from home and we were very comfortable. We fixed a simple dinner, did some laundry and went to bed. Only problem was that we were able to stay only for one night. Should have been much longer!

It had an excellent view of the small town harbor from the kitchen window! It was very nicely decorated. The beds were very comfortable and plenty of blankets. The kitchen was well stocked with pans and utensils. They even had salt and pepper and coffee and tea with cookies! The gist was very communicative. Everyone in our party was so impressed!! It’s up four flights of stairs so only book if you are able to carry your luggage etc up to it. But it was so worth the few steps. It was a perfect place to stop along the 500. There is a cute restaurant right next door but we had already brought our dinner to cook. The neighbor said it was great food though. They had shampoo and conditioner which was a bonus. Truly wonderful hosts. Best stay yet!!
