Hosts are very welcoming, detailed instructions were texted to us in advance. After confirming we will be arriving late, hosts left the lights on to make it easier to locate the pod, very considerate. Nice view of the sea while having breakfast outside and limited external lights allow to enjoy stars in the night sky.

Lovely cosy pod with comfortable beds. Not huge but the space is efficiently thought out making it easy to cook, eat and watch TV. The hot tub is fantastic with wood provided and the fire set every day. Sarah and Andy were fantastic hosts. It was very dog-friendly. Bear in mind it is a working farm so you may be woken by gentle mooing each morning! The location is great for exploring the lakes and fells around, but be aware there is not much else on site so you will need to drive to pubs and shops.

Lots of things we liked: - The owner, Emiko. It feels that your comfort is really important to her. She helps a lot and pays attention to smallest details. She also knows a lot about whiskey and has a large collection (including a bottle from Israel, where we come from) - The cooker and the house keeper, Dorinne. An amazing English lady that does everything with a smile, prepares delicious meals and keeps the place clean as a hospital. - The location is quiet and remote, exactly what we needed.
