We drove by car from London. Ample car parking right infront of the hotel. Lovel room, kingsize bed. Allmodern and clean. We only ate dnner there whihc was nice.

Really friendly staff and breakfast eggs cooked to order (rather then all dried up like many hotels) Rooms aren't posh, but really clean and beds and linen were very comfy. Great value and I'd definitely stay here again.

Lovely characterful main building, with the bedrooms attached in a more modern block. Comfortable bed. Great that they have 24 hour reception, and the night staff are always very welcoming if you're arriving late. Plenty of parking, hidden around the back.

Cozy, well decorated room with comfy bed. Bathroom Modern. We also liked the pub area as it was remodeled but kept the ancient beams and atmosphere of 17th century. Parts of it remained as wad. We had a great meal and hearty breakfast. All staff were excellent. It was easy to fi nd and so convenient to Whipsnade attractions.

A beautiful old manor with so many old features. If you like history this is the place to stay. Very good communications with a wonderful host who also made us a great breakfast just how we liked it. Fun thing is antique bed was so high you had little stools to get into it.
