This is a perfect accommodation for those walking the West Highland Way. While it didn't have an oven or hob, it had a microwave and enough kitchen essentials to have the flexibility to buy and cook food and also prep food for the next day's hike. It had a nice private outdoor space where you could cook out or lay out all of your clothes to dry in the sun (on a good weather day) or huddle up inside on the sofa or comfy bed (on a not so good weather day). It also had a working heated towel rack for drying off your essentials in a pinch.

The house was extremely clean & wonderfully comfortable. It was an easy check-in. The hosts were responsive. The view was amazing! The only thing that would have made it better is if we’d had more time to spend there!

The location was perfect to end a day of hiking the West Highland Way. The Tailrace Inn has a bar on the ground floor and the rooms were above. The rooms were cozy and suited our needs. The bar was the perfect place to unwind after a day of hiking and have a beer (or two) and a good dinner (make a reservation for dinner if you can). As good was the dinner was, the breakfast the next day was the star of the show with porridge as creamy and good as any that we have ever had. The hotel also provided a delicious packed lunch for us to take away for our next day of hiking. This was a wonderful choice for a place to stay in Kinlochleven.

    The park is facing a small river, which adds to the charm of the experience, but on the day we were here it was raining so we couldn't take advantage of the available tables and soak up the space. Free parking. Communication with the property is easy. For an extra fee they provide sleeping bags and towels.

    Firstly, the staff are lovely. You can tell they are putting up with a lot of flack which isn’t fair. The manager needs to step up and sort this place out! Location lovely with a magnificent view. The Bothy bar is great, plays good music and the food is nice, we ate there both nights. Plenty of free car parking. Breakfast is tasty, but a bit over priced. Kabin was small, but we made it work. We met lots of lovely people.

    Elegant house in convenient location with mountain views, very spacious room and comfortable beds. Informal atmosphere, car parking space, also noticed drying room and bike store for walkers/cyclists. Good choice at breakfast. We also spotted an eagle out of the bedroom window on arrival! Pub/restaurants and shops in walking distance.
