The inn is absolutely adorable! The room was large and comfortable and in the center of the cutest town you've ever seen! Free parking was a great bonus. We noticed after our stay that we were accidentally doubled charged for the room but I was able to email the inn and they responded immediately and fixed the mistake.

Shame the parking restrictions are now so onerous

Wonderful stay and Chrismas meal in the pub. Really enjoyed it. Wonderful off lead dog walks. Everything you needed was in the hut. Just lovely!

We loved the beautiful cottage, stunning views, cosy atmosphere and the thoughtful little touches throughout. The location in Painswick was perfect for exploring the Cotswolds, and everything was spotlessly clean, comfortable and beautifully presented.

We had a wonderful stay at this cottage. The location is incredibly peaceful, surrounded by beautiful scenery, yet still easy to access. Inside, the cottage was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The bed was super comfortable, the kitchen was fully stocked with utensils, and the living area was the perfect place to unwind in the evening. You can really tell the hosts put a lot of thought into the little details to make guests feel welcome. Communication with the host was smooth and friendly from start to finish.! Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing retreat.

A quiet clean location, with a good bed.

Not only did we discover that Painswick is a beautiful, friendly Cotswold town to visit, the Bright and Beautiful Coach House was our favourite accommodation of the holiday ........ which is high praise since we were very happy with all our booked accommodations. The lovely decor, the well-equipped kitchen, the comfortable bedding, the little private yard for sitting outside, the perfect location just minutes walk from the very heart of the town, the parking spot right outside the door - everything immaculately clean - there just couldn't be a more pleasant place to stay. There were so many special touches - eggs and bread waiting for us on the counter, milk in the fridge, fresh flowers in every room. We reflected that it would make a perfect home base for touring that corner of the Cotswolds.

We had a fabulous stay for a family birthday. The house is spacious, even for ten people! Plenty of parking, large and well equipped kitchen, spotless bathroom facilities and a spacious lounge for us all. Everyone commented on how comfy the beds were. We were able to sit outside with our coffee in a nice garden area, very peaceful yet with Stroud just a few minutes drive away. The hosts were easy to contact yet left us to get on with our long weekend. Highly recommended.

Stunning property in a gorgeous village. Close to some lovely pubs serving great food and lovely service. The rococo garden is a lovely spot and a 20 min walk away. Rebecca was so helpful too!

This property was so cute snd unique. Loved the idea of staying in an old schoolhouse. The inside had many historic features like wood beam ceiling and windows but it has been modernized to include a gorgeous kitchen and light/bright living room and bedroom The location was easy to get to, right on the Cotswold Way trail.

Really clean; beautiful area; close to great walks

Breakfast was self-serve buffet style but specific orders (eg porridge) were made-to-order. Service was quiet and efficient but we went very early. No complaints.

Beautiful hotel, amazing food and service!

We had a wonderful stay at Burleigh Court, from the moment of arrival, with a lovely welcome, to the relaxed checkout when we alas had to leave! After arrival, we really enjoyed relaxing in the lovely atmosphere in the lounge, with a wide range of options in the well-stocked bar - including, hurrah!, a selection of Stroud Brewery beers! Then a delicious dinner in the 2-rosette restaurant, which exceeded our expectations - every single element was delicious and generous. With a wonderful wine selection, it felt very special. It is no wonder that the Burleigh Court restaurant has such a fabulous reputation in this part of Gloucestershire. And then a very restful night's sleep in our courtyard room. If it was slightly less damp weather we would have taken advantage of the sauna and plunge pool next to the room. And then up for a wonderful breakfast - beautiful locally-sourced products - fabulous sausage and bacon in particular - and a lovely selection of cereals, yoghurts and fruits - all served in the lovely dining room. And, most of all, the wonderful team. Everyone working at Burleigh Court has a wonderful manner - attentive but not OTT, and all committed to creating a lovely experience. We think that Burleigh Court is a wonderful place to stay and enjoy!
