My room was incredibly comfortable, and I had a very pleasant stay at OSO. The owner of the property, Mr. Shigeru was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. He gave me many good tips for sightseeing both nearby and off the Skytree line! This is an amazing property for guests to experience life in a Japanese household. The price of this property is impossible to beat! despite being a shared house my room was private, and the house was generally quiet throughout the day/night. I also enjoyed talking with other guests. There is a common room where guests can relax and converse. Finally, the location--Sengendai is a quiet area which could be considered either a positive or negative depending on who you ask. But the accessibility via rapid lines south to Tokyo make it a very convenient station for those who wish to travel to the city. There are bikes available for rent at the property which make exploring the area quite easy!

The apartment was clean and spacious. Everything is as advertised as seen in the photos. The stairs were quite narrow and it can be difficult to move large suitcases. There were only a few hangers, and no closet to hang clothes/towels on, so it can be a bit of a problem for longer stays. Otherwise, everything was great and enjoyable.
