We didn't get to stay here long; however, the staff was super friendly. There was a parking pad for us which was good since we had a rental car. They had a good selection of beer at the bar (not just Victoria and Frost like most places). Rooms were comfortable and clean. Also, the staff is honest. We were charged on our credit card ahead of time (we didn't realize it) and when we went to pay for our room in cash, the staff told us there was no need since we had already been charged. They could have easily taken our money and I wouldn't have known until later.

I’ll start with this — the gentlemen who work at this place are fantastic, especially Gustavo!!! They are incredibly kind and welcoming, eager to please at all times. The women were also courteous, of course, but Gustavo at the reception desk made our stay so painless. We really appreciate the service we received. Regarding the hostel itself — the location is safe, the rooms were clean, the pool was great, the breakfast was cheap and tasty, and the views were wonderful. 24/7 bar and pool, and parking access, so you could come and go as you please regardless of the time of day. They also provided beach towels and offered a convenient laundry service. Simple yet fabulous. Overall, a truly affordable stay and so glad we made our way over here after not loving our Airbnb in Leon.

Everything was beautiful. The room was spacious. Clean the food was delicious. The staff very friendly, helpful and we had so much fun at the pool. Jake's Place was the perfect setting for my extended birthday celebration! The location right on the beach is incredible, with gorgeous sunset ocean views. The place is spotless, nicely renovated, and has fantastic chill-out zones for enjoying the scenery (and a tasty piña colada!). The food was great, the plunge pool refreshing, and the facilities comfortable and clean. Beyond the beautiful setting, the hospitality was outstanding. Darren (and Jake) were simply awesome hosts. Darren, especially, is a truly lovely person – so welcoming, engaging, and clearly passionate about providing a great experience. It felt like staying with a friend who happens to run a little piece of paradise. The staff were helpful, parking was easy, and the relaxing vibe was exactly what I needed. It's also conveniently located for exploring nearby Leon. Highly, highly recommend this gem!
