Situated in Grasmere, 12 km from Windermere, Victorian House features parking is limited and offered on a first come and first served basis.

The rooms come with a flat-screen TV. Some units include a seating area where you can relax. Certain units feature views of the mountains or garden. Victorian House features free WiFi . Staff couldn't do enough to help... Wonderful stay amazing breakfast...

The extensively-refurbished Bridge House Hotel is set in Grasmere, directly across from St Oswalds Church and the graveyard where William Wordsworth rests. The hotel sits in its own mature grounds, with beautiful views overlooking the River Rothay.

Free parking is included for guests. Great location, and a very nice property. Great breakfast. Great staff. Would stay here again in a second.

In beautiful Lakeland surroundings overlooking an idyllic brook, Glencree is situated between the villages of Bowness and Windermere. With free parking and free Wi-Fi, it serves hearty breakfasts cooked to order. Guests can swim in the property's off-site pool. Great atmosphere. Room spacious, clean with all eminities. Staff very helpful and friendly

The surrounding National Park offers plenty of scenic routes for walking and cycling, and Ambleside is a 10-minute drive away. Windermere Rail Station is a 5-minute drive from the building. There is free parking and secure bike lock up on site. This was one of our favorite stops on our recent trip. We all agreed, the beds were comfortable, the showers were hot, and the rest of the amenities were great. Elliott was a great host - giving us some advice about our next stop. Breakfast was delicious. With a pub within walking distance we couldn't ask for a better location.

The views from the breakfast room are so good it was once listed in The Times Top 10 Most Scenic Restaurants. Close to town centre, plenty of parking space, tasty breakfast, well maintained room and host hospitality

Set in 14 acres of landscaped grounds next to Furness Abbey, Abbey House Hotel offers luxurious rooms with historic features. Guests can enjoy free WiFi and free on-site parking.

Built as a private house in 1914, the hotel has hosted King George V and other members of the royal family. Many of the rooms and public areas retain elements of Edwardian luxury, including high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows. Was nice but with limited options. Still it was manageable.
