We loved that it was a modern version of a traditional Japanese Ryokan! The hotel was very clean both in the public areas and the hotel room! Staff was very kind and professional. They were very accommodating and well versed in different languages. Very foreign and local people friendly.

The location was perfect- the bus terminal is right in front, as is a mall where groceries and souvenirs can be bought. The staff were also very helpful- but that is true of practically all Japanese- such lovely people.

Excellent hotel and a great stay overall. The location is perfect, very close to Kyoto Station, making it extremely convenient for getting around the city and for day trips. The hotel was spotlessly clean, with a calm and relaxing atmosphere, and the staff were efficient, helpful, and professional. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable, and the onsens were a real highlight of the stay. They were extremely relaxing and very well maintained. I also really appreciated all the little extras provided by the hotel, such as the ice cream, massage chairs, and hot drink machines. These were excellent additions and made the experience feel especially welcoming and enjoyable.
