The hospitality of the staff was exceptional and the many public rooms, terrace and garden are exceptionally beautiful. The location across from the race course and within a lovely short walk into town, it has a unique and lovely quiet situation. Rooms overlooking the race course have binoculars for viewing the races! The homemade Cartmel flapjacks provided in the rooms are heaven.

An absolutely incredible place! Immaculate. Very very clean throughout. Each and every staff member was top notch and committed to a high level of customer service. Breakfast was delicious and served beautifully. The chauffeur service into town is not only classy but very very useful based on the narrow roads.

This is one of the best places I have stayed. You can see the beach from the kitchen window and takes 2 mins to get there. Fantastic lodge and great location. Everything a traveller could need. Clean and cosy, I have already booked to stay again!
