I stayed in the Miller’s Cottage which was beautifully clean and cosy. It was in a beautiful location with easy access to the town and the rest of the property. The stream outside was so lovely to listen to as I went to sleep. I loved my stay!

We loved the huge kitchen that was really well organized, with baskets marked for each room. The eating area was so cozy and bright with windows overlooking a beautiful yard. It felt homey. We also loved the little study area. I was traveling with my mom and the room was kind of small, so we used that room for time to ourselves for reading to give the other privacy and also just to stretch out. The owners were super responsive, brought me extra blankets themselves. My mom had a great conversation with them. It's a really great location, across from greenspace and a tiny lake, and about a 15-20 minute walk to town, and a beautiful walk at that. We didn't use the bus, but the bus stop is right at the end of the street from the place. It feels really homey. Will definitely book again when I come back!

    Braeside Retreats is a Beautiful Pod with 360 Degree Views. Everything you need for a Self Catering Trip or offers the option to jump into the Car and Drive to the Local Town. The Hot Tub is Fabulous and a great added Bonus, allows pets and the Pod offers peace and quiet if you are looking to escape. Thanks for a great stay!

    We love staying at The Pentland, it’s a comfortable hotel, not modern/generic, with a friendly historic atmosphere. Great breakfast included, and good food in the bar for an evening meal. Pet friendly too, with a doggie blanket and treats in the room on arrival. Very helpful staff.

    We were in the quiet rooms and they were excellent. Large beautiful room and it was dog friendly. They provided dog bowls, dog treats and towel for the dog which was a nice touch. There was a good choice at the breakfast buffet. The hotel has a restaurant too

    Excellent location, brilliant accommodation there was nothing needed to take with us all was provided, robes, towels, showering facilities, kitchen fully assisted for cooking and very comfortable lounge area with throws, games and so much more. Outdoors also was perfect dining area with hot tub and bbq/fire pit. For us dog friendly field completely enclosed was brilliant too also fab family area for the kids.

    I loved how friendly the lady who runs this place is, outstanding people skills and just the person who you want when you’re staying somewhere especially on your own. Dog friendly. Great location. Right next to the sea. Information books provided in the room. The bed was soooooo comfy. Very clean. Breakfast was delicious!
