Pet-friendly hotels and homes in Otsu

The property was kept super clean and the owner had amazing communication!

We slept well in the beds and the air-conditioning was working well. Well situated to the Geisha-district - perfect!!!

Very cute apartment and very nice facilities and room.

As a couple who have left their doggo at home staying somewhere that the owner had a furry friend we could adopt for our stay was a lovely bonus. The owner herself was absolutely lovely and incredibly helpful. The apartment was spacious, clean and had all of the facilities you need. The kitchen diner was a welcome space and the tatami room was clean and fresh. The balcony was a pleasant treat and the face we had a whole apparent was a welcome break from boxy hotel rooms. Location wise you can't choose better, walking distance from many points of interest, on a main road with access to restaurants and public transport ( not that you'd know in your apt) The secret winner for us was the roof terrace. Although designed as a dog run, it is clean and spacious. The seating and views are really nice. You can see several shrines from the roof and we were lucky enough to catch a beautiful sunrise from here. For dog owners, they accommodate your dogs well, you can see the care she has to make their stay as comfortable as yours. If you are traveling without dogs you won't know that dogs are welcome. Highly recommended

Conveniently located to area attractions, buss stops and great restaurants. Easy walking to everything you need or a short bus ride to Kyoto Station or downtown Kyoto.

Good location, excellent decorations, great value

The wifi was consistent and strong, which was important to us. The place was adorable, with everything we needed. The bath was deep and the water pressure was phenomenal. Easy walk to transit and restaurants. Easy check in. Lots of lovely extras like kimonos, umbrellas, and coffee.

Simply beautiful, calm and the staff is just beyond wonderful.

Incredible amount of space: Unlike typical compact Japanese accommodations, this is a separate two-story villa with plenty of room for everyone and all our luggage. Extremely comfortable layout. Great for walkers: The villa is located within a comfortable 10-15 minute walk from Kyoto Station, making it an excellent base for those who prefer exploring the city on foot and having direct access to major train lines. Authentic atmosphere: Staying here felt like having our own private house in Kyoto, perfectly blending local historic charm with modern living standards. Everything was exceptionally clean and functional.
