We stayed at Luna Taxco, recently and unfortunately, our experience did not meet our expectations. The hotel had a strong smell throughout, which made it uncomfortable to stay indoors for long periods. There were no glasses provided in the room, and we were not given an extra bedsheet when we asked for one. The patio was not accessible during our stay, and the terrace area seemed poorly maintained — it was dusty, looked like it hadn’t been used or cleaned for many days, and there was no lighting available, which made it uninviting. Overall, the hotel did not meet some basic needs we expected, and we feel there’s a lot of room for improvement in terms of cleanliness, facilities, and guest comfort.

I have mixed feelings about this property, location is common but a very ugly direct pathway to zocalo, it’s ok to walk on daylight but nighttime seems not safe. Plenty of noise during nighttime. The works was that it doesn’t have a fan to ventilate air so sleeping time can become a true nightmare. By all means if you are fat or even well nourished, do not go here as the stairway entrances are 20” wide you won’t fit. This place it’s ok only for an emergency staying. Also internet snd tv with no signal .

Good service from the house owner. It's a guesthouse, with a view from the windows to the old town. It was clean, the size of the room was alright, there was hot water for the shower and a windows in the WC. Not so far from the old town for walking, it would take 15-20 minutes walking to the central part and you don't have to climb steps.
