Our family from Tennessee and Florida, enjoyed our stay immensely, at Los Lagos! This was our second time and we look forward to future stays! Pura Vida!

great pool and campfire areas, super nice spot to relax between activities.

This place is right on the edge of the jungle, and the staff put out bananas/plantain so the bird life is incredible. We saw toucan, motmots, hummingbirds and lots more, without even leaving the hotel. When it isn't under cloud, there is also a stunning view of the volcano from the breakfast deck. The included breakfast was very good as well.

The property was beautiful with nice landscaping and a lovely hot spring pool. Amazing view of Arenal volcano

Loved this resort, especially since we stayed in a Chato suite, which I would highly recommend. All staff were helpful & pleasant. Great hot springs, sushi bar, and location to reach various destinations for days out, etc. Integrated very well into the environment with lots of planting resulting in seeing wildlife on your doorstep (birds, especially toucans & hummingbirds, great crested basilisk, raccoons).

The property is amazing, comfortable, connected with nature, a really nice garden by the pool and an amazing view of the volcano! Don’t get confused by the comments saying the road is dangerous, we came in a normal car, not an 4x4, not an SUV and we managed to get here and out just fine! Even at night with heavy rain, so don’t be scared with those comments. It’s a normal road. So a 10/10 to this place and the staff is really welcoming also.

Great and very clean hotel in La Fortuna. The room was spacious and had all we needed. The location is really good as well and the staff was super friendly. I can defenitely recommend this place!

The location is perfect and the hotel offers a spacious room with a comfortable bathroom and a lot of shelf space. The setting is very private with a large covered deck overlooking a manicured grounds. We even watched many times an armadillo busy searching for food a meter away from us. A beautiful swimming pool and a hot tub was a nice addition and the self-serve bar with coffee and tea provided us with some refreshments. There is also a pool table and table tennis for the rainy days. A very affordable Soda el Turnito is just across the road for a delicious meal. Elizabeth from the reception showed us a beautiful garden in the back of the property. She is very caring and funny! All in all, we had a very relaxing time here and can whole heartedly recommend to others.

very comfortable and affordable for a gang of five, two adults and 3 teenagers in a separate cabina. this family owned set of cabinas is situated close to the arenal volcano, our sightseeing destination. the breakfast served was of outstanding quality.

Everything about this hostel made my stay in La Fortuna so much fun, especially the staff. HUGE shout out to Azul, Zoe and Ronaldo for being so friendly and helpful! It’s very easy to meet people here, with an awesome communal area and kitchen. 10/10 experience :)

The view is unbelievable, the rooms are extremely comfortable, cleanliness is on spot, staff are over the top. One of the mornings we would leave to a tour before breakfast time, and the staff made sure we had breakfast. Highly recommended.

Fantastic location for touring surrounding attractions. Swimming pool warmed by springs but not overheated for the warm climate, easing muscles after long hikes. Peacocks hang out around the property and strutted past the pool as we soaked. We booked an entire bungalow and put the kitchenette to work rather than eating out a lot. The breakfast is reasonably priced if wanting that option in the morning.

Everything was perfect! Christal was a wonderful staff! Her hospitality was just amazing. We enjoyed breakfast every morning:) authentic atmosphere!

The staff is incredible. Fatima created all sorts of origami out of our towels. We looked forward to seeing the room each afternoon. The desk staff were always available. They were able to set up our different tours. David, Ronaldo and Michael were the best at taking care of us. We did travel with my 81 year old mother. All the staff was so attentive to her needs.

We loved our stay here. Apartment was clean, well equipped and comfortable. Walking distance to town and attractions. The whole outside area, including the swimming pool and seating area were great. Would definitely recommend.

We loved the staff mainly Andrey from the reception he was excellent, the location and the rooms were perfect for us.
