Wonderful!! Lucia was a delight and lovely. This is a real Italian family sharing their lifestyle. Just what we wanted, slow pace with great view. Lucia shared her laugh and home.

It’s a beautiful property with stunning views of the sunrise and sunset. It is only about a 45 min drive to Pisa and an hour and 40 minute drive to Florence so the location is good and the nearest supermarket is not too far either. Everything was as described in the listing and it’s even more spacious than we thought. We had a group or 9 people and it didn’t feel crowded at all. In fact at times sometimes you had to go searching to find where everyone was because there were so many rooms. It was well stocked with bathroom and kitchen essentials. There was even a beverage fridge downstairs and a small ice maker. They also provided us with towels for the pool and there were plenty of extra blankets. The host communicated well both before and during the stay and answered all my questions quickly. It was quiet around the house and really peaceful at night time. The hill to get up to the property is quite steep but we had SUVs, which had no problem getting up and there is ample parking in front of the house. We didn’t need the a/c at night but it was a nice option to cool the house down when it got a little too warm during the day if we were home. I would definitely stay at this property again.

We had a wonderful stay at Castellare de Tonda! The staff were amazing – always helpful and full of great recommendations for places to visit, which made our trip even more special. The place really gives you the authentic feeling of agriturismo, and we had everything we needed during our stay. The pool area is lovely with an incredible view, and we especially appreciated staying in the area with more families – it was perfect for us and our kids. Highly recommended!. Having our own space was great, it was private and beautiful. The goats were a plus for the kids to enjoy as we came and went.

Pool was beautiful, it was a quiet location near a small town - so felt remote but conveniently close. The apartment was amazing - cozy, clean and beautiful view. It had everything we needed - the kitchen was fully furnished.
