ThailandWe stayed one night at North Pier Hotel and were pleasantly surprised by the warm hospitality and thoughtful service. Check-in was smooth and quick, and the staff went above and beyond-helping us with our bags and offering helpful advice about the room.
Our accommodation featured two spacious king beds and a bath tub, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The coffee provided was excellent, a small touch that made a big difference to our morning. The location is ideal, just steps from the beach and close to local cafes and shops.
Highly recommend for a comfortable and welcoming stay!

AustraliaSurprisingly the house had almost everything we needed for the stay which really made it a home-away-from-home, even the free coffee pods was an add-on, . The place was big enough to comfortably fit all 12 of us and was very homey. The rooms were also excellent, my brother-in-law happens to be an interior designer and absolutely loved the setting.

I believe our unit on the 3rd floor was recently renovated. The management team was very friendly and helpful. The kitchen was very well equipped to cook for a family of four. Good quality fridge, stove, oven, microwave oven, dish washer, kitchen utensils, dining table and sofa. The washing machine and dryer were a bit dated but in good working condition. Good quality bath/shampoo gel. The apartment was very clean. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

Basic room that met our needs as we traveled about the Melbourne area. Quiet this time of year and you get to park right in front of your room. Microwave, fridge and coffee set was a plus.

towards pier remember to visit local cafes especially kristos cafe n tavern … ( the local shops n cafes need ur support to make up 7 months of no thru traffic ) food n service was terrific! ) bakery always good and rsl great meals atnight
Strollalong beach eitherside of pier safe spot to take kidlets. Clean n accessible public rest rooms not far from pier.

The location & The Resort itself was great.
The location & The Resort itself was great. We had a meal at the restaurant which was fantastic.
The apartment was the total opposite as described above.
When we contacted Rachael regarding no hairdryer, milk, tea or coffee her reply was no milk coffee or hairdryer supplied although sometimes the previous guests sometimes leave milk etc. which would be left in the fridge! I would definitely not book there through Air BNB again.

This apartment is enormous, nicely decorated and well stocked. The host is very informative. The location is in the local shopping centre hence easy walk to pub, cafe, 3 restaurants, supermarket but a short drive to the beach. There are no significant views. Cape Woolamai has front and surf beach. We did a morning Kayaking tour around the cape which was beautiful ( and we had perfect weather for it) and a 2 hour hike at Cape Woolamai in the afternoon ( spotting 3 wallabies and an echidna)

Really like the island at this time of the year when it’s quiet and restful. We enjoyed the walk to Pyramid Rock. Later we walked along the jetty at San Remo. I enjoyed the walk down the Main Street of Cowes to the beach and jetty. A man had caught several good fish there. Dinner at the San Remo hotel was good and I would recommend it. We also really enjoyed the National Vietnam Veteran Museum. I recommend allowing a considerable amount of time for the museum as there is so much to see. It’s very interesting and well worth a visit.

Super lovely area - it gives beach vibes without the chaos of a touristy beach?
And has a few nice local hotspots/activities to check out Local cafes have great coffee, and it seems like everyone was very hospitable to visitors to the town which is really nice :)

Local pubs for the daily special meals? A+!
We drove, and everything was within a very short distance to our accommodation except Cape Woolamai, which is SO worth the trip to do the walk around and see all vantage points for the ocean. Stunning!!

Weather dreadful.
Weather dreadful. Rain, freezing wind, cold, very little sun. Wouldn't go there in winter. Traffic in Cowes was maniac. Good supermarkets, Coles, Woolworths, Aldi. Some great clothes shops. Loved the scallop pies, baked deserts. Loved the Chocolate Factory. Penguin Parade was great to see. Saw the Koalas & 1 echidna at the Koala Sanctuary. Liked Churchill Island. Loved seeing the Highland cows. Went to Catholic Church at Rhyll for 9.00 am Mass Sunday. Choir lovely. Good attendance.

The house is in a quiet cul-de-sac and a short walk from Smiths Beach which is a patrolled, family friendly beach. The house is well set up with two separate living areas, front and back decks, activities, plenty of books and games and a full range of beach equipment. There are no shops at Smiths Beach but Cowes is only a 10 minute drive away. Will accommodate six adults in queen size beds and four children in bunks.

Lovely modern home with lovely touches. Disappointed with cleanliness of balcony as it hadn’t been cleaned, it was dirty and greasy not just covered in sand from beach. We spent an hour cleaning it up. We also cleaned the house before we left, so wasn’t too happy about the cleaning charge on top of stay.

Cowes is a beautiful and relaxing place with plenty of shops...
Cowes is a beautiful and relaxing place with plenty of shops, restaurants and attractions nearby. It’s a great base for exploring Phillip Island, and we really enjoyed our stay. We would definitely visit Cowes again.
