Sarajevo is a lovely place to visit, with many interesting things to see and experience- the walks along the canal, the interesting and historical museums, the bustling markets, the great food and beautiful scenery, there is a lot to savour. We wish we had known about the Olympic village high above the valley which you can reach via cable car or by car, and just hike along the various pathways which were originally the ski and bobsled slopes.
