- Scored out of 10, guest rating 7.9Good - What previous guests thought, 861 reviewsThe staff is amazing, very gentle and nice. There is huge diversity of food. The environment is very family friendly. Even though the alcohol was included in the price, we did not see people wasted around. The access to the beach is pretty easy and the beach is clean and not a lot if people around. We felt really safe inside the resort, we could leave out stuff on the chair and go for a walk at the beach. The days we were there it was pretty hot, and it is a region where there are a lot of wind. This makes the weather fresher.Guest review byRebeccaBrazil

Amazing architecture, well described and educational museums...
Amazing architecture, well described and educational museums, very nice polite people, pretty decent food and drink. You need about 4 days overall, to get to know the city, and possibly go back to the places you liked best (if that's your thing when you travel - it is for me). However, the religious thing does get a bit tiring, as does the noise level. Best part of town by a long stretch was Santo Antonio depois do Carmo, which is beyond the Pelourinho. The Casa das histórias de Salvador was very good, albeit a bit short on live story telling.Guest review byCristinaBelgium - 10.0

This is my second time in Fortaleza, I really enjoy the city, the people are friendly and I feel safe travelling alone. I got around the city using Uber which was very reliable. I really enjoyed walking along the beach front and shopping at the street market. I went on tours to four major beaches which were fantastic.Guest review byHelen SmithBrazil - 8.0

If you are going for shopping or to walk on the beach than you are in the right place. It has 2 big shopping moles and it has a nice place called Boa Viagem where I recommend you to go for some physical activity and even for a walk during the day. People are extremely friendly, but of course there is a lot of people bagging on the streets, the rich are too rich and the poor are extremely poor. I recommend you to go to the Capitão Gancho Pizzaria and Entre amigos o bode, both very nice places. The first one extremely local and the other one depends on which part of the restaurant you choose. Always take an uber specially if you don't speak the language. There are beaches "near by" 1h where you can swim with uber costing €21 or dollars one-way. Like for instance Porto de Galinhas Beach and city.Guest review byJorgeBelgium - 10.0

Natal is a wonderful place to visit when you have children or teenagers as it is full of activities for them and you. Great restaurants and so many places to visit nearby, packed with lakes, sand ski, zipwire, dunes and buggy, tricycle and lots of adventure to have!Guest review byDanielaUnited Kingdom - 8.0

We enjoyed our trip to João Pessoa, and the reason for being there was to run the João Pessoa Marathon. It was supposed to start at 4:30 AM, but they decided to start at 4:00 AM without any warning about the change. That was a kick on the shin because they had a set of rules, but they themselves don't observe them. Needless to say, I was very disappointed and disheartened. Yes, I did finish it! The two restaurants we liked the most were "Sapore D'Italia" and "Canoa Restaurant." The only two fun activities we had were walking on the beach and running the Marathon. It was enough for us. Yes, getting around João Pessoa is very easy.Guest review byEdson L SanchesUnited States - 4.0
I would not have stayed in Sao Luis if I had had the choice.
I would not have stayed in Sao Luis if I had had the choice. We stayed one nights in the historic center on arrival. Absolutely beautiful place but very uncomfortable hotels and few places for tourists. A 1h walking visit is probably enough. We stayed another night on the way back from a trek into Lencois national park on the beachfront. More confortable but nothing really interesting for foreign tourists. There is potential to develop this city into something attractive for tourists but it’s not yet enough to justify a stay.Guest review byGregSpain - 10.0

Porto de Galinhas is a charming place, especially at night...
Porto de Galinhas is a charming place, especially at night when the village really comes to life. The streets are full of little shops, local crafts, and great restaurants. One of our favorites was Restaurante Domingos – super cozy and perfect for a special dinner, with amazing seafood. If you're looking for something more affordable but still delicious, Trattoria is a great pick for pasta and Italian dishes. During the day, besides relaxing on the beach and visiting the natural pools, we also tried diving – it was such a cool experience, and you don’t even need to be a diver. Honestly, Porto has the perfect mix of laid-back vibes, good food, and fun things to do.Guest review byAna CarolinaBrazil - 6.0

Barreirinhas improved since 2022, however the city is really ugly. High season everything was overpriced. You do get whatever you need, but will pay top dollars for poor quality stuff. Food was ok, everywhere but very expensive. taxis were super priced . And the city is not a walkable city. Dirty and service, for such a touristic area is very poor. However , the Park is so beautiful that is worthy the pain of the city. People are very sweet , and kind, but not properly trained.Guest review byAdrianaUnited States - 10.0
