Inano Beach Bungalows offers spacious, authentic accommodations located on its own private beach on the southern tip from Ootu beach. It is a beach front property and safe to swim at all tides. I have travelled the world to find heaven on earth and I found it here at Inano Beach Bungalows. The resort is family owned and operated by 27 year old Cheran who is super impressive as it is evident she is building a hotel empire in her youth. I had the privilege to spend some time with my amazing, sweet host Cheran and finding out their family history the story of Inano beach and her passion for beautiful Aitutaki. Inano beach is by far located on the BEST beach on the island. Each day I would visit a different hotel on the island including the fancy and very expensive resorts but none compared to what Inano beach bungalows had to offer such as their breath taking lagoon, the friendly amazing staff who remember you by name, awesome value for money, huge size bungalows, welcoming beach facilities such as the bright sun loungers and bbq tables for evening sunset drinks on their private beach. I had the best sleep ever on the most comfortable bed and the room itself is super clean and well thought out with beverages in the mini bar to purchase upon arrival and fresh flowers inside the bungalow. There are too many highlights to take away from my stay here but I must add the daily tropical delicious breakfast bought to my bungalow by friendly Poni in the morning I always looked forward to it with excitement. Breakfast includes an amazing variety of fresh local, organic fruits, cereals, fresh baked bread, home made yoghurt and beautifully decorated flowers which adds a 5 star touch to your morning:). I cant get over this resort and the hard work Cheran and her team are doing to ensure their guest have an exceptional stay. It is clear with the guidance of Cheran Inano beach will meet new standards in the future, she is not one to mess with and I mean this in the best possible way!.
Located on the stunning beach front and offering a range of outdoor activities for guests to experience, Kuru Club is located in Aitutaki. The property features an outdoor pool. friendliness of the staff, self-sustained apartments (water+energy), their modern and good standard, the AC (really nice in their summer), support of manager going to restaurants on the island even pickup afterwards, option to get one of the electric cars (fuelled by sun)
Matriki Beach Huts provide absolute beachfront accommodations on the sunset side of the island. You can enjoy snorkeling from the beautiful white sand beach right at the front of the property. beautiful beach, friendly staff, comfy bed, the huts have everything you need to spend some wonderful days on the beach, relaxed and quiet place to disconnect
Aitutaki Budget Accommodation is offering accommodations in Amuri. The property provides a shared kitchen and a shared lounge for guests. At the guesthouse, each room has a closet. Spacious clean and comfortable rooms, nice kitchen and common area. Ned and Greta are awesome hosts. Highly recommend. If you want a good place to stay on Aitutaki send them an email.
Tavake Villa is located in Arutanga. This property has a balcony and free private parking. The owner T is a fantastic guy, picked me up from the airport, showed me around and got me set up with everything I needed. Good café also serves the best breakfast I've had anywhere in the cook Islands. I genuinely left feeling more like a friend than just a paying guest.
Located in the Ureia Village, Paparei Beachfront Bungalows, Aitutaki offers beach-side accommodations with free airport transfers. Nice place. Perfect weather. Friendly hosts and great manager who was very helpful to organize different bookings for us. Fabulous beach view. Perfect spot for watching sunset from your private beach. Love it.
Located on a white sandy beach, Amuri Sands offers charming, self-contained waterfront bungalows with a private balcony and stunning, uninterrupted views of the lagoon and ocean. Mark is a great host. Easy to get in touch, ask for advice, get a scooter and driver license, or help with tour bookings. The unit was very clean and quiet. And sitting right on the beach is not a bad thing;-) We had a great time!
Small island paradise. Quiet place, but there is fishing, kayaking, swimming snorkeling and good food. Very friendly people. This place is a true treasure. Everyone needs to go there once in their lifetime. This is Island where CBS Survivor Cook Islands filmed [castaways were on an islet in the lagoon--the crew stayed on Aitutaki]. This is an old fashioned paradise. NO fast food, but plenty of great food. Prices here are reasonable. Also take the Vaka cruise of the lagoon.
We wanted to eat well, go snorkelling and kayaking without having to spend lots of money on day excursions. This proved nearly impossible to do. I follow a vegan diet which is not an option on Aitutaki as everything is based around animal products including 'dairy'. My only options were chips (unfortunately salad usually came pre-made with mayonnaise). We did hire a water taxi via Mona Taxis which was wonderful. The owner, Daniel and his wife Lorena were great and took us to a secluded snorkelling spot and then on to One-Foot Island for the rest of the day. It cost $70 per person which was a lot cheaper than the other day cruises on offer which run at approximately $150 pp. I'm really glad we opted for Mona Taxis because we got special treatment and didn't have to share our day with lots of other people (and their children) as well as food that didn't meet our dietary requirements (Vegan), so we were able to self-cater.
Quiet, but well appointed, very helpful and friendly staff... they offered to make our days there as optimal as possible without asking. Took care of us based on our arrival and departure time to make sure we could get the most out of Aitutaki while there. Yummy food at Kuriri Bar & Grill. I would definitely stay there again! Planning to next year :-)
I can definitely recommend this place. The hosts are incredibly nice, help you with whatever you have, and the huts are beachfront. It's basic but it fits perfectly to Aitutaki and the beach right there is amazing. I had an amazing time! You can rent bikes and explore the island, and many other things!
Great home with everything you need. Perfect for a family. Vaa, the manager, was absolutely amazing from the airport welcome to the end. Close to snorkeling and away from the tourist crowds. I will recommend to anyone going to Aitutaki.
Spacious clean and comfortable rooms, nice kitchen and common area. Ned and Greta are awesome hosts. Highly recommend. If you want a good place to stay on Aitutaki send them an email.
Best value on Aitutaki. Fantastic location. Great hosts. Will stay again if traveling alone
A rare disgruntled local and lack of island facilities were the only negatives we took notice of...wonderful place.
Loved the private pool and luxurious villa - ingenious design, stunning bathroom and beautifully decorated throughout. This is the place to go if you really want to spoil yourself - loved every minute of our stay here and would come back in a heart beat!
The location was great. Papa Rino and the stuff are incredibly nice people! We got a newly renovated cottage, right on the beach. The sunsets are to die for! The breakfast is good with lots of fruits. We had hot water at all times and the place was spotless. Papa Rino is the sweetest guy! He’s 87 and yet he will personally pick you up at the airport (and drop you off)!
Hospitality was amazing, very friendly and willing to help.
The breakfast was great and the lagoon was amazing. Maria is an awesome host!
Beautiful beach, great breakfast, amazing and helpful staff. Rooms are very comfortable, clean and spacious - catered to your every need.
The Bungalows are located a bit secluded, the beach and part of the lagoon outside the patio were hardly visited by anyone but us. The bungalow was nice, clean and had all that you would need for a self serviced unit. Wake up in the morning, walk 10 meters for your morning swim. We love this place. Should we come back to Aitutaki, we would stay here again.
we stayed 2 nights at private lagoon resort and 2 nights here, but when we arrived at the reef motel , we felt quite satisfied! comparing to the high end resort. firstly ,reef motel have freshwater for shower while the water coming out of all tap in lagoon resort is very salty which means you can never get a real shower. Secondly , it's very clean mainly because the reef motel use tile as floor material while lagoon resort is made of all wood and it's glutinous everywhere! thirdly, Ana is really helpful and nice, you will not see the trained high-end hotel employees' smile on her face, but she make the stay here relaxing and comfortable. reef motel is a simple but pleased stay in Aitutaki
We liked being right on the beach and had a lot of privacy with the vacant lots on either side which we really enjoyed. We could walk at least a mile each way on the beach which was absolutely wonderful. We rented a motor scooter for the entire stay which I would highly recommend as the closest grocery store is a long walk. We would love to return for even a longer stay.
Loved having all the space, good kitchen facilities, beautiful view, great location, nice little pool, comfortable beds, good laundry and space to hang clothes, love eating breakfast on the balcony.
The host did airport transfers which was awesome. It was a full kitchen with everything we needed and host was happy to provide extra towels for the beach etc Private beach was amazing Thank you for having us :)
