Matriki Beach Huts provide absolute beachfront accommodations on the sunset side of the island. You can enjoy snorkeling from the beautiful white sand beach right at the front of the property. Very clean & comfortable. Nice view. Liked being able to snorkel right off the beach. Loved Sonya’s vegetables, bread & food.
Aitutaki Budget Accommodations is located in Amuri. The accommodations provides a shared kitchen and a shared lounge for guests. At the guest house, each room has a wardrobe. Spacious clean and comfortable rooms, nice kitchen and common area. Ned and Greta are awesome hosts. Highly recommend. If you want a good place to stay on Aitutaki send them an email.
Featuring accommodations with a patio, guests staying at this holiday home have access to a fully equipped kitchen. Great home with everything you need. Perfect for a family. Vaa, the manager, was absolutely amazing from the airport welcome to the end. Close to snorkeling and away from the tourist crowds. I will recommend to anyone going to Aitutaki.
This waterfront property offers beautifully appointed luxury villas, designed for maximum privacy and relaxation. Loved the private pool and luxurious villa - ingenious design, stunning bathroom and beautifully decorated throughout. This is the place to go if you really want to spoil yourself - loved every minute of our stay here and would come back in a heart beat!
Pacific Resort Aitutaki is a luxury 5-star resort on the island of Aitutaki. This hideaway resort offers private beachfront accommodations, beautiful lagoon views and great spa facilities. Bed and pillows were so comfy and the staff at the resort went out of their way to make our stay special, including a romantic dinner in the beach/bar area. Our villa was breathtaking. My husband was on crutches and their help including moving him around in the golf cart was great, especially as we did not know they had one. Also the spa a wonderful experience.
Located on its own private island, this luxury resort offers beach-front and over-water bungalows with panoramic views of Aitutaki Lagoon. Quiet, but well appointed, very helpful and friendly staff... they offered to make our days there as optimal as possible without asking. Took care of us based on our arrival and departure time to make sure we could get the most out of Aitutaki while there. Yummy food at Kuriri Bar & Grill. I would definitely stay there again! Planning to next year :-)
Small island paradise. Quiet place, but there is fishing, kayaking, swimming snorkeling and good food. Very friendly people. This place is a true treasure. Everyone needs to go there once in their lifetime. This is Island where CBS Survivor Cook Islands filmed [castaways were on an islet in the lagoon--the crew stayed on Aitutaki]. This is an old fashioned paradise. NO fast food, but plenty of great food. Prices here are reasonable. Also take the Vaka cruise of the lagoon.
We wanted to eat well, go snorkelling and kayaking without having to spend lots of money on day excursions. This proved nearly impossible to do. I follow a vegan diet which is not an option on Aitutaki as everything is based around animal products including 'dairy'. My only options were chips (unfortunately salad usually came pre-made with mayonnaise). We did hire a water taxi via Mona Taxis which was wonderful. The owner, Daniel and his wife Lorena were great and took us to a secluded snorkelling spot and then on to One-Foot Island for the rest of the day. It cost $70 per person which was a lot cheaper than the other day cruises on offer which run at approximately $150 pp. I'm really glad we opted for Mona Taxis because we got special treatment and didn't have to share our day with lots of other people (and their children) as well as food that didn't meet our dietary requirements (Vegan), so we were able to self-cater.
Facilities good to use although old time. Plenty of hot water.
The breakfast was great and the lagoon was amazing. Maria is an awesome host!
Loved everything about it.. house was awesome!!close to everything and the view was amazing saw whales nearly day and our host was lovely and helpful.. highly recommend Moana Villa 10/10 👍
This accommodation is in a beautiful setting overlooking the lagoon. We stayed in a beachfront cabin (but smaller / cheaper cabins with a partial beach view are available) It’s clean, spacious, has a rest area (settee & dining table), and a really well stocked kitchen (fridge / microwave / hob, free tea / coffee) hot water showers, fan and AC, pool, free use of kayaks, a BBQ and free water refills. There is a book lending library. You can also rent scooters / cars from the owner and he can organise tours. The owner is friendly and very helpful. WiFi is available from the property to purchase (like everywhere in the Cook Islands) and very good - you can use it all over Aitutaki and Rarotonga as long as you’re in a hotspot) It’s a 30minutes walk to the airport and is near 2 restaurants and a cafe however you need transport to get to the shops / grocery store. There are no buses on the island. We loved our stay here and would definitely recommend it.
