Matriki Beach Huts provide absolute beachfront accommodations on the sunset side of the island. You can enjoy snorkeling from the beautiful white sand beach right at the front of the property. Fantastic beach. The snorkeling was awesome. Loved the location
Tai Roto Bay offers spacious, authentic accommodations located on its own private beach on the southern tip from Ootu beach. It is a beach front property and safe to swim at all tides. Exceptional, look no further. Best location on Cook Islands overlooking the lagoon and walking distance to cafes and restaurants, heavon. Private beach front that you share with 6 other villas only, unlike the private island and other hotels that you share the beach with over 30 villas or more. Welcome at the airport personal and friendly, includes shuttle service to accommodation. Very flexible with late check-out which I was grateful for. Direct view from deck overlooking the lagoon, heaven. Clean and comfortable. King bed very comfortable and shower pressure strong. Kitchen facilities and fridge stocked with continental food for breakfast on the weekend - weekdays breakfast served to your door. Two local cats that welcome you on arrival and visit you during your stay to say hello. Very quiet and private location. Lastly well kept tropical gardens surrounded each villa for privacy. I highly recommend. I will be back.
Located in Vaipae, 1.4 miles from Mangari and 1.7 miles from Arutanga, Angiangi Secret offers an outdoor swimming pool and air conditioning. I loved the modern architecture of Angiangi Secret as there is a parity between Angiangi Secret and luxury design in the U.S. The private pool is fantastic and an extremely rare amenity for Angiangi's Secret daily rate. The expansive deck which connects to the pool elicits a sense of private luxury. The view from the main door, deck, and pool is stellar. The owner of Angiangi Secret is an extremely amicable chap. When the owner realized I was alone on holiday he immediately introduced me to an array of individuals on the Island. I will definitely return to Angiangi Secret on my next trip to Aitutaki.

Featuring garden views, Abera's Aitutaki Villas provides accommodations with barbecue facilities, around a few steps from Aitutaki Beach. Complimentary scooter, the pool, range of amenities, helpful host, peacefulness, access to beach, walking distance to other resort restaurants and bars
Etu Moana Boutique Beach Villas offers relaxing beachside boutique villas on Aitutaki Island. This place is absolutely incredible. We originally booked the Aitutaki Lagoon Resort but changed to Etu Moana at the last minute and it was the best decision - it was the absolute highlight of our trip. The resort and grounds are absolutely stunning and so well kept. We had a beachfront villa which was everything we could have asked for - comfy beds, a big rainforest style shower and gorgeous views of the lagoon. The staff were all super friendly and attentive, and the hosts Jane and Steve are worth their weight in gold. Nothing was too much trouble and they went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. I can’t recommend this place enough.
Pacific Resort Aitutaki is a luxury 5-star resort on the island of Aitutaki. This hideaway resort offers private beachfront accommodations, beautiful lagoon views and great spa facilities. Everything about the stay was magical. The staff are beautiful and friendly. Every detail was incredibly thought out. Can’t have asked for more from this expy
Small island paradise. Quiet place, but there is fishing, kayaking, swimming snorkeling and good food. Very friendly people. This place is a true treasure. Everyone needs to go there once in their lifetime. This is Island where CBS Survivor Cook Islands filmed [castaways were on an islet in the lagoon--the crew stayed on Aitutaki]. This is an old fashioned paradise. NO fast food, but plenty of great food. Prices here are reasonable. Also take the Vaka cruise of the lagoon.
We wanted to eat well, go snorkelling and kayaking without having to spend lots of money on day excursions. This proved nearly impossible to do. I follow a vegan diet which is not an option on Aitutaki as everything is based around animal products including 'dairy'. My only options were chips (unfortunately salad usually came pre-made with mayonnaise). We did hire a water taxi via Mona Taxis which was wonderful. The owner, Daniel and his wife Lorena were great and took us to a secluded snorkelling spot and then on to One-Foot Island for the rest of the day. It cost $70 per person which was a lot cheaper than the other day cruises on offer which run at approximately $150 pp. I'm really glad we opted for Mona Taxis because we got special treatment and didn't have to share our day with lots of other people (and their children) as well as food that didn't meet our dietary requirements (Vegan), so we were able to self-cater.
The location is amazing, the room offer is really good and easy access to kayaks, bicycles etc- very self contained. The staff is friendly and try to give you the best experience, they all remember your name. The hotel is very quiet and tranquil and also located in a really good area of the lagoon. There’s a great local restaurant nearby and easy access to the main road for a bike ride. Aitutaki is beautiful and definitely worth the stay.
Right on the beach with a lovely sunset view. Great facilities in the kitchen and bathroom, which were new and very nicely done. This place is nicer than the photos might suggest. Great breakfast with extra care re our gluten free diet requirements. Lovely hammock on the beach in the shade. Truely wonderful hostess, even by Aitutaki standards.
From the moment we were collected from the airport to the day we left, we were treated as special and valued guests. The villas are exceptionally well-appointed and comfortable. While they're luxurious, they still feel like "home". A difficult thing to achieve, but Aitutaki Escape has managed to do this. Thomas and his team made every effort to make our stay memorable. We are grateful for their efforts to help us - from a delicious breakfast delivered every morning, arranging a hire car , arranging lagoon tours and helping us find somewhere to eat in the evening. The private pools are a bonus, and we made good use of them - especially in the evenings. We would highly recommend Aitutaki Escape and look forward to returning one day.
The beautiful owner and her son Retts made us feel welcome hope that we were just beautiful tenants as well would stay there anytime very gracious owners
The location is amazing right on the lagoon! The staff were excellent, friendly and helpful with answering any questions we had as well as helping with organising our stay. They went out of their way to make us feel at home, the cabins were spacious and clean, with the restaurant right on the water the sunsets were unbelievable. Ally greeted us at the airport and was very welcoming then and throughout our stay. We highly recommend Aitutaki Village!
excelent location, perfect view
Good location and is near take-out spots, stores, and locals.
Location was stunning, great activities and really friendly vibe created amongst the guests. Our room was small, but the best value for money on the island.
