This hotel is part of the new airport in Beijing, designed by Zaha Hadid's team. The design is amazing. The room has so many details. It is very comfortable and clean. Even if you don't have a layover in Beijing, you should try this hotel. I upgraded my stay to a junior suite for an extra $70, which included breakfast and was very good value.

    We stayed in The Peninsula Beijing for more than a week and it was excellent! Everything from the first minute was fantastic. The best and very central location, the breakfast, room facilities and staff. Especially I would like to mention a wonderful concierge team, who helped us not only with exploring Beijing, but with different and sometimes unusual questions related to our health conditions. Anytime when we needed help: sightseeing, restaurant recommendations, traveling to other cities in China and even medical facilities, the best and very knowledgeable concierge team, especially Lambert, Kurt and Jason were incredible! We will 100% come back to this hotel when we travel to Beijing again. It was one of the best experiences and I really enjoyed the service.

I would recommend anyone visiting beijing to stay at the Nuo hotel, it was definitely the nicest most professional hotel me and my boyfriend have ever stayed in.     Bejing is a great city to visit, but one has to do some home work before jetting off to Bejing. The western countries applications like Google Maps, Uber do not work in Bejing, therfore one has to be sure to have some Chinese Apps installed on your phones before coming to Bejing. Apps like Ali Pay, Wee Chat, the Chinese Version of Google Maps called Amap, it is a must. One has to have a Global esim if possible and be able to download all of these apps in order to move around in Bejing easily. Otherwise moving around will be a struggle. All in all great city to visit.

    It's best for the great wall.

    It's best for the great wall. I recommend going to simatai for the sunset, jinshanling for the awe inspiring views and panlong for the untamed wild serenity. To get to panlong, you need to didi or get a car to the bottom, then pay 25rmb to get in. Once at the top, turn right (east). You have to come back the way you came(apparently there is another way down but we couldn't find it). Wear sensible shoes. Miyun isn't easy to get around. Factor in the price of hiring a car into your trip.

    People were extremally friendly and helpful. Not everyone spoke English but enough people could or use your translation app. Felt very safe walking along the alleys late at night. We could rent a taxi inexpensively to take us to the Great Wall and waited until we were done, which was probably the highlight of the stay. Wanted to see the Forbidden City and Tienemen Square but our stay was too brief and Forbidden City is closed on Mondays.

The Chef was very very friendly knowing that i was of African decent, he made me feel at home by taking me round and giving me insight of every single food served. All this was on the 31st December evening. He became my family on the night.

    Beijing is an ancient and modern city that has a lot to offer. Fall or Spring is the best season to visit Beijing. You may enjoy visiting the historical sites such as YuanMingYuan, or wondering in the very modern and luxurious shopping centers, such as China World Trade Center or SKP. If you can navigate the Subway system and download a riding APP called DIDI, you’ll feel much more freedom with your travel experience there. The city is secure and neat. A must go if you want to see great historical sites such as the Great Wall.
