- From $76.25 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Excellent - What previous guests thought, 491 reviewsSoto de Luiña was an absolute delight on the Camino. The albergue/accommodation was clean, welcoming, and had that calm, cozy vibe that hits just right after a long walk. The town is small but full of character, with a peaceful charm that made it easy to unwind. Slept like a rock and woke up refreshed and ready to go. A truly great stop — everything just worked here. One of those places where your Camino rhythm resets beautifully.Guest review byStijnBelgium

I read about Oviedo in a British newspaper.
I read about Oviedo in a British newspaper. It is in an area of Northern Spain that is rich in history and architecture but is not frequented by tourist from abroad. Not many spoke English, but that is a good thing, showing that the area is not primarily populated by local residents. I particularly enjoyed visiting the Cathedral, Archaeological Museum, Art Museum and a ninth century church. The Old Town is full of old buildings that are still in use and is very pleasant to stroll around in.Guest review byPiersUnited Kingdom - 8.0
Rather nice city at the ocean shore.
Rather nice city at the ocean shore. The center is not too urbanistic, architecture is good. It is also not too big, it can be explored by foot, visiting all three beaches. The whole city can be crossed by a cheap bus. The views are great. Especially Playa de San Lorenzo and points around the Cerro de Sta Catalina. For those found of walking I also recommend visiting the Senda del Cervigón route. But I'll warn swimmers - take into account tides, waves and the water temperature.Guest review byMikhailRussia - 10.0

Great little town with many restaurants and bars, mainly frequented by Spanish people and other tourists. Many families on holiday which made the place feel safe. I would consider staying there in the future as part of another tour.Guest review byIan Charles - 10.0

Ribadesella is in a lovely location with the Picos behind the town and river and sea in front. We travelled to the area by feve train, which was very scenic. You will need a taxi on arrival as the station is high up above the town.Guest review byAntonettaUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Shops, cafes and restaurants and easy access to all the sights of the area. Easy drive to Poncebos (go early, limited parking) and a super walk to Bulnes and return via funicular. A nice drive out to Cangas de Onís. All very scenic.Guest review byAndyUnited Kingdom - 8.0
The hotel was better than I expected.
The hotel was better than I expected. It's a great location, walking distance to town, and has nearby restaurants. The staff are very friendly, speak excellent English, and they even folded clothes left out when they cleaned the room. Parking is on the side, so drive right in and turn right. Downstairs are two living rooms, one with a bar. Drinks are inexpensive, and they would pour until you said when. It's not in Cudillero proper, but it has parking, which we needed.Guest review byJohnUnited States - 10.0

Luarca is very beautiful , you fell the force of the Bizkaya in the entire city. It is not touristic at all, you rarely hear other languages than Spanish. The restaurants offer the most delicious and fresh seafood , the large variety of Bizkaya and Atlantic fish and regional food. You can have a walk on the 3 moles or climb up to one of the seaside hills. You should not be afraid of rain and a part of the buildings is empty and not well-kept, so there is some lost places charme.Guest review byMareikeGermany - 8.0

If you haven't explored Asturias give it a go, but you will have problems if you don't speak Spanish. I am fluent but because there aren't many tourists everyone gives you an up-and-down look and anticipates you being a guiri. Then, when you surprise them by speaking Spanish, they act like the French do and answer you by saying "OK". Well this is true for much of Spain, but the beauty of the Asturian countryside and architecture, the temperate climate, the great local train system (cercanias) and more or less cheap prices (except in July/August) make it worthwhile.Guest review byRICHARDUnited Kingdom
