A wonderful mix of cultures, breathtaking scenery with historical reference points on every corner. When you go, you must visit The Alhambra, I went with a guide, which has whetted my appetite to learn more about the history of Spain. I nearly forgot, the food, is to die for!Guest review bySantiagoUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Almuñécar is a beautiful little town, still unspoiled by too fancy tourist facilities. It has that beautiful Mediterranean feeling, a peaceful life sense, and a slow pace that can only be enjoyed. It is an enjoyable place for a vacation, and certainly a great place for families with kids. It has everything you need from the modern perspective (supermarkets, post office, pharmacy, some large brand stores, McDonald's restaurant, bus station, healthcare facilities), but still carries that old-time sense of peaceful living.Guest review byMarkoEkmedzicGermany - 10.0

Such a great little city that feels very safe and enjoyable for travellers. We loved the local feel of Motril, unlike other places along the coast that we visited. The locals were friendly and there was a great selection of restaurants and bars as well as a nice walk to the beach with good access for pedestrians. I wouldn’t recommend bringing a car as the streets are little but a scooter or moped would be ideal. You must try Pizzeria Vespa and Zarcillo Restaurant was such a special place to go for dinner too. We also loved a little late night walk around the cactus garden which is such a cute place. Motril, you were excellent!Guest review byPaigeCzech Republic - 10.0

Nice seaside town plenty of restaurants/bars either in town or on beach. Stoney beach but big and not too crowded when we went in June. Seemed a more upmarket resort than some of the other towns nearby.Guest review byJulieUnited Kingdom - 6.0

Salobrena is a lovely town with a real mixture of new and old. We particularly liked the old town and Arab quarter walking up to the castle. The beach side is everything you would expect and has all the necessary amenities. The only thing we were disappointed with was the amount of fog faeces not being picked up!!! It was a shame as it spoils what is rather a nice place.Guest review byLoulou68United Kingdom - 8.0

The place is great for mountain biking and hiking, its a small place but good choice for food and drink. Beautiful village area with cave hotels.
Beautiful village area with cave hotels. Not far from motor way and accessibility is not an issue. Essential things are available in nearby villages. A vehicle is required to move around to buy things.Guest review byDeepa HaridasIndia - 10.0

We visited and skied in Pradollano during peak season. It was a very enjoyable and interesting experience, although there was not a great deal of snow during our visit we still managed to enjoy our time there during the weekdays. The weekends look particularly busy so if you don’t like a very crowded ski field might be best to avoid the weekends.Guest review bychristineAustralia - 8.0

I had things to do in Baza so, my "tourist time " there was limited. There are many places of interest like the Archeological Museum, Palacio de los Enriquez, E. Expositivo "San Jerónimo", two big parks, a few churches, Baños Árabes, Wooden Balcony Houses, Old Butchers, and more.Guest review byCitaCanada
