It is a beautiful hotel and lovely garden/courtyard. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food at the restaurant is excellent. Walking distance to center of town and also the train station.

A wonderful week in the round tower with our family of four. Historic chateau and Loire ambiance to enjoy.
Great location for exploring the Loire Valley. Wonderful chateau. Room was giant by French sizes. AC was there, but we didn't need it as it was zero degrees! The room was quite comfortable, as was the bed. The breakfast was very good as well, pretty much everything we might have wanted. All in all, we enjoyed our stay, the people were nice and would most certainly go back again and recommend our friends go if they were heading there.
Ed Ellen’s location 3 min walk to train station and excellent restaurants. clean large rooms, great coffee and tea selection in room. pool and hot tub were a. ice treat. staff friendly, and breakfast Buffett was very yummy with lots of selections of cheese, pastry, eggs, fruits, yogurts. best breakfast highly recommended.
Very good stop on our road trip, easy to get there and back from the expressway. Walking distance to shopping and public transportation to the center. Very friendly lady at reception gave us very useful advice and map.
There was nothing I liked about the accomodation.

I have never given a review as bad as this but feel it is totally justified.
Amazing chateau! We loved everything about our visit. The room and the view were remarkable! The staff was so helpful and always friendly. The food was delicious!
Tours is a great city. Excellent information Bureau near the railway station. Limited shops and restaurants near the stations, but major chains along Rue Nationale which leads to the two historic areas of Tours: the Cathedral Precinct and the Historical Old City Precinct. Fabulous old 12th Century buildlings, squares, cobbled streets, bars and restaurants - fabulous ambiance and well worth a visit. One of the highlights of my visit. Undertook a half day excursion on the second day to two chateaux (Villandry and Azay-le-Rideau) in the Loire Valley - another highlight with an excellent guide.

The closed street with restaurants at the foot of the castle, the river with huge wall up to the castle, the tiny staircase we found that took us to the top of the wall and then another to go back down to the city, the short walk to the castle and Clos Luce, all so beautiful.

Very tired looking which is sad because it is in a perfect location for shopping centres and being on a main road it was easy to find at night.
So easy to get to a beautiful shopping centre just a few minutes away.

Beautiful medieval town with quaint streets and a lovely...
Beautiful medieval town with quaint streets and a lovely farmers market while we were there. The chateau is worth a visit and you get beautiful views from the ramparts and across to the country side and river. Easy to walk everywhere as we were close to town.
There is kayaking available on the river which looked fun.

We were travelling, so unfortunately only one night in Azay but managed to see the amazing chateau. Smaller than some of the others in the Loire but really interesting. Loved the small streets and ate in a great local restaurant. Would definitely come back to this town and hotel. Can’t wait in fact .

I'd never heard of Loches, but it's a real gem. Totally preserved medieval city with really beautiful buildings and a real community feel. We were lucky enough to be there on market day also, which was a real treat.

The hotel is located near motorway, in a quiet area.
The hotel is located near motorway, in a quiet area. It has a pool, perfect to chill out with kids. Unfortunately there is no restaurant service in the evening, only a bar. Beds are very comfortable. It was a perfect stop for us on the way to Spain, but it looks like it is a nice area to visit for a couple of days and enjoy the surroundings, we shall consider a longer stay next time.

We were just crossing the region and avoiding the motorways, but we enjoyed the spectacular views, the lovely villages, the greenery and the flowers. People living there obviously care for and about their surroundings. We saw also restaurants and buses with tourists, but we did not stop to interact.
