    Beautiful Location and pretty close to Etretat (10min drive). The quadruple room was spacious with a large bathroom. Beds were comfortable with nice bedding. We made a mistake and did not know that check in was up to 7pm that evening but they we very kind and stayed to wait. Apologies but appreciated to kindness. The rest of the site with other accommodation (tents and treehouse) appeared clean and something we want to try next time if we ever return to this region. Do not know how the shared bathrooms/showers were as we had our own. We got there late but the main area was clean and had quite a few food options to order from.

    Our room was 1st floor, one above ground and was easy to access. Our window overlooked a pathway to the river and was quiet. The room was clean, fresh and well maintained. The exterior and courtyard maintained a rustic and historic charm. The young lady at reception was bright and chearful and most accommodating. The location is fantastic right in the middle of the Main Street. The Wednesday market was right outside our front door.

All the staff were professional and went out of their way to make sure it was a truly memorable stay. The breakfast ladies were hardworking and eager to please. We were lucky enough to have a great parking space for the duration of our 4 night stay. Very comfortable bed and clean bedding.

    Unfortunately we were only there on a Sunday where all the town facilities were closed by the time we got there. However, there is a huge shopping centre open on a Sunday about a 15 minute walk from the hotel - veery impressive

    The cafés and restaurants all serve local fare, but if you're self-catering, the market and Carrefour shops in the centre have all you need to make some interesting meals. The little shops are excellent with lots of local souvenirs, but they're quite pricey. The castle is well worth a visit, including an amazing art gallery and information about the history of the Dieppe region. There's also plenty to do in the surrounding area and some guides are available for interesting themed walks around the town. A pity the Pont Colbert is out of service as this causes lots of wasted time crossing the estuary.

    The cliffs of Étretat are spectacular and definitely worth a visit, but note that lots of other people think that too! So there are crowds of people, tourists from all over the world in this small seaside town. Parking is difficult to find or you have to park 1,5 km away from the town center.

    The town has a fascinating maritime and particulalry WW2...

    The town has a fascinating maritime and particulalry WW2 History and was the site of a major battle during June 1940 which was like a smaller version of the Dunkirk evacuation (10 days after) but ending in much tragic loss of life, destruction and eventual surrender to Rommel. The monuments at the cliff peak(s) either side explain this very well. Also the Maison Henry IV is worth visiting as a museum of the town and its background and culture with an excellent guide who will captivate you for over an hour! But don't expect any detail much about the house and its architecture plus the link to Henry IV is very tenuous indeed as he only 'might' have visited it!

    This was a nice 3 room apartment with a stocked kitchen, living room with a nice TV and bedroom. All I needed was a place to sleep and a hot shower, but got so much more. It was in the French countryside so it was beautiful and quiet, but close to shopping and Deippe. There is not much in walking distance, but I had a car. Exceeded my expectations.
