Great location by the water/port away from the busiest part of the city. The rooms are modern and very nicely furnished, spotless clean. Beds are very comfortable. The nice addition of a jacuzzi made the afternoon very pleasant and relaxing. The staff is very friendly and extremely service minded. Fantastic breakfast that you can enjoy outside the hotel or at the rooftop area. Parking is easy as you can park for free at the port just 100 meters away. Bonus tip: the equally fantastic restaurant Piato is just 30 meters from the hotel. Book both for an unforgettable combination.

We had a fantastic night! The hotel is ideally situated 2 min from the sea (walking), very warm welcoming from the owners. Rooms are super spacious, super clean, calm, we had a big balcony as well. Big breakfast full of delicious Greek foods. I really recommend this place, do not hesitate to book, it is really worth the money, really worth it!!

A genuinely good hotel where you immediately feel at home — or as if you’ve come to visit family or close friends. The staff are extremely polite, positive, and always ready to help with any request, yet never intrusive. Nothing disturbs your relaxation here. The food and service are absolutely 10 out of 10. The location was perfect for us — peaceful and surrounded by nature. If you prefer lively nightlife, cafes, bars, and parties, this isn’t the place for you. But if you value tranquility and beautiful surroundings, you’ll love it here. A couple of small suggestions: the rooms could use a bit of renovation as they feel a little tired, and while the mattress is quite soft (which I personally liked), others might prefer something firmer. It’s also a pity that smoking is allowed on the balconies — though that’s common in many hotels. Overall, I can say one thing: I truly recommend this place!

The hotel was amazing, the staff were polite and friendly, the facilities were plenty and very satisfactory. We got an upgrade to our standard room which was very much appreciated since we were given a very big room with huge bathroom and very big veranda overlooking the pool and the Bay. Our toodler had the chance to freely move around the room and play. The pools were excellent and the kids pool was amazing! Our kid loved the water snake and the slides very much!! The kids club is an excellent alternative for some hours in the heat of the summer. The buffet dinner at the restaurant had a huge variety with quality choices every night and although the hotel seemed pretty busy, yet it was so quiet and everything was in order.

Candia Park Village looks like a real comfortable and super authentic village. It’s fantastic for couples with children. There are several pools for families, especially we liked the private beach. It’s made of several layers and there are pines around it. So after 2 p.m you don’t actually feel heat and it’s comfortable for children. We liked the kids’ club. There were different activities there, especially atmospheric were the movie nights near the pool with popcorn. One could find a restaurant, buffet and pool bar on the territory. The variety of fish impresses. All food was fresh and the menu was versatile. The room was cleaned each day and the personnel was very amiable.

The location was fabulous, sheltered sandy beach with water sports and close proximity to two local towns which both had an excellent choice of restaurants. The staff were all first class throughout the hotel and extremely polite. Our hotel room was perfect with the added benefit of shared pool which seemed private as the other two rooms adjoining us didn’t use. Would definitely return when next in Crete.

Elounda was ideal for us as it is fairly small and so no great hussle and bussle. Lots of places to eat. We visited Spinalonga one day - taking boat from Elounda and the second day we visited Plaka. Would like to have stayed another day to take opportunity to visit Agios Nikolas. Easy bus ride away.

We really liked Lerapetra, though Feb, much was open, with colourful street decorations in readiness for the upcoming carnival. Nice promanade to wander along, pleasant sitting spots to watch the world go by and even a walking/ running track close to the hotel. Friendly people.

Visited at the beginning of October and a lot of places beginning to close for the season. Town quiet but pleasant. Unfortunately the ferry to Agios Nikolaos does not run anymore so it’s a long drive if you want to visit

Myrtos is a busy little town with parking just on the outskirts. Interesting streets with lots of shops and cafes, so good to walk around and explore. Beach front cafes to sit and watch the world go by. Choice of many tavernas for food and drink.

The local restaurants are excellent.

The local restaurants are excellent. We particularly liked the 'Natural foods' one at the turn off for Mocholos, about 4 km from the village. This is a classic family run taverna. However, those in the village were almost as good. In October the place is still lively and pleasant.

Have visited sissi for 20 years ! 2 , 3 , times a year. Sissi is a perfect village with plenty of restaurants, bars , noisy , quite, whatever you want is there. Very picturesque, beautiful village, once you visit once you will always go back .

Big sandy beaches. Good tavernas, we liked MeRaki. Istron is a "strip" of a village running along a main road. There are apartments and hotels up the hillside from the road, with not too much road noise. When rough you can hear the sea from your apartment. Apart from the beaches and eating places there is probably not too much else to do.

Probably one of the nicest place in Crete.

Probably one of the nicest place in Crete. In the south-east this small village with harbor and several taverns direct on the sea, which serve excellent food at a reasonable price has no overtourism until now. At the beautiful 3 km sandy beach, many very nice private App direct on the beach or above the harbor in the old town offer perfect locations to stay. Only at the end of the sandy beach away from the rest of accommodations a hotel complex offers an all inclusive stay.

Tiny village with a great atmosphere.

Tiny village with a great atmosphere. We attended to a traditional event, with cretese music and dances, and in the area you can find very interesting historical sites. The beaches are very close and nice (the coast is facing east, so there are no waves in case the strong wind is blowing). Our favourite beaches have been Kouremenos for windsurfing and Itanos/Paralia for swimming. The best restaurants we tried are Mythos in the village centre and Elia in the close village of Agathias that you can reach on foot in ten minutes. Pharmacy, restaurants, shops, markets. Here you can find all you need for a perfect stay!
