A world-class and amazing resort

Great breakfast and dinner buffet. Top-notch massage at the spa. Very helpful and attentive service. The hotel's location requires a car though. Stunning seaview from the balcony's jacuzzi.

Where to start ???? We ummed and ahhed about the cost as this is an MG Gallery hotel it was pricey so I was at least hoping it would meet expectation, well this exceeded expectations by a long shot and worth every cent. Firstly, I have NEVER had service like this not just by one staff member but EVERY single person who works there. I was going to ask if the owner gives them happy pills because everyone from the front desk, porters, waiters, cleaning staff treated us like we were royalty. It honestly made us feel so special. We were super early but they still escorted us to the restaurant and offered us coffee etc and wanted to show us around so we felt at home, Returning that afternoon to check in, we were given the junior suite and plunge pool and it was superb -the privacy is next level and it was an absolute highlight of our trip to Crete. Watching the sunset over a perfect evening was unbelievable. The mini pools are sparkling clean and they drain them everyday. The two pools are divine, you can grab a cocktail or two while you swim. They both overlook the ocean but they also have a private beach area directly in front of the property and you can order food and drinks till 6pm each day which is incredible. You don’t have to lift a finger. The food in the buffet is absolutely first class and includes bubbles. The bathrooms are beautiful with the shower fabulous, they just need some shelving for toiletries. The Manager, if I have this right Nikitass was so welcoming and engaging and did an excellent job overseeing the staff in the restaurant. I live in Australia but I hope to one day stay for a week. Impressive !!!!! Agios Nikolaos is absolutely beautiful and I’m glad I listened to advice as we were going to stop driving at Heraklion.

An exceptional experience - simply perfect! The staff was professional, kind, and very welcoming, and the atmosphere at the hotel was pleasant and relaxing from the very first moment. The view was amazing, the room was spacious, beautiful, clean, and comfortable, and the dining room was excellent, with high-quality and varied food. In addition, the private pool in the room was a perfect size and added so much to the experience. We enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely love to come back again 😊

Comfortable beds, plenty of hot water and a good shower pressure, a friendly welcome, a book library and a delicious Greek breakfast. The roof terrace and bar were a bonus and the swimming pool, although not Olympic-sized !, was a delightful place for several lengths, and a first rate view over the town and port! I would heartily recommend this hotel for its situation, and for the fact that at the time of our visit, it was still much loved by Greek families. A previous post has mentioned that the breakfast room was not particularly welcoming ... this may be true, but it's clean, has plenty of chairs and tables and the ladies responsible for it fill up the buffet selections quickly and clear the tables efficiently; the room is intended for more than just breakfasts ... festivals and celebrations ... so has to be reasonably neutral in decoration, and to expect the large variety of cold and hot dishes, fruits and breads (plenty of different ones to choose from) to be transferable to the roof garden would just not be possible. In these days of 'international' travel, it's easy to 'copy and paste' dining room decor in chain hotels throughout the world, but this is a Greek hotel, and therefore thankfully keeps to the traditions and requirements of its country, culture and local needs. I certainly would stay here again.

Our stay at Daios Cove was truly exceptional. The resort is absolutely beautiful, with breathtaking views, luxurious facilities and impeccable attention to every detail. The service was outstanding from the moment we arrived until our departure. Every member of the staff was genuinely kind, professional and always willing to help with a smile. Housekeeping visited twice daily, everything was perfectly maintained, and we never had to ask for anything because every detail had already been anticipated. A special thank you goes to Mr. Dimitris Koutsouridis, Assistant Guest Relations Manager, whose professionalism, kindness and dedication made our stay even more memorable. He was always available, provided excellent recommendations and ensured that every aspect of our holiday was perfect. Daios Cove truly delivers a world-class luxury hospitality experience.

Absolutely fantastic breakfast. Amazing thought to minor details. Staff very kind to both young and old or anybody needing any help. The staff are very well trained. Lots of local food and wine. Very little waste and thoughts concerning the environment. Wonderful place.

What an amazing hotel! Price-quality ratio is unbeatable. Rooms are new and large and around a quiet and beautiful garden. Pool area is amazing with super comfortable beds, large swimming pool and even ping-pong table. The pool bar is also very nice and breakfast is delicious (good mix of Greek and international choices). The staff was also super accomodating. If you go to Elounda, don't hesitate and stay in this hotel. It combines the quality of larger hotels with the cozyness of a small hotel. Large parking in front.

A great friendly hotel.A real gem

The atmosphere in the village is more beautiful than you can imagine by looking at photos.Both beaches are great,very different and complementary. rooms are quite big,nice and clean.Food was delicious and all the stuff was pleasant and available for all we would need.Special mention goes to Marija and Antonis who took care of us during breakfast and dinner.

Beautiful view, location 10 meters from the beach, good breakfast, stuff is very friendly. A lot of cool restaurants and bars nearby. Free locker in the room. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful time in this hotel. the staffs are very helpful in giving information, they make you feel at home while away from home. Lots of eating places around and the beach so close to the hotel. Deluxe room was great and the rooms are clean. The hotel has the vibe of a 4 or 5 star. With comfortable beds.
