The resort is beautiful. Great pools, great beach, great rooms, great brrakfast and restaurant. Everything is top notch. We stayed before in beautiful resorts and I would like to emphasis your biggest assets are your employees...they make the difference. The service is outstanding from arrival at the front desk, restaurant, to housekeeping, beach service and everybody else. We felt the 5 star service!!! George and the rest of the guys were fantastic. The hotel and rooms were spotless. Fresh breakfast every morning. The location was perfect for us, 10 minutes walk to the centre of the old town. I would highly recommend the mojito's beside the pool!!

We got a free upgrade to a room with sea view and jacuzzi. The jacuzzi was even filled for us at no extra charge for the room. The room was very clean and modern. The staff were super friendly and very helpful at all times. A pillow menu helped to find the perfect pillow for a good night's sleep. Every morning there was a different egg dish, which was always freshly prepared. The buffet was delicious, fresh and included different things every day. Super central location. The private car can be parked for free in the adjacent residential area (but you need some time to find a parking space) or in a nearby parking lot for a fee (about 14 euros per day).

Just wonderful! Loved the atmosphere with the cute little pool in the courtyard and my bedroom was beautiful and so well designed. It was small but perfectly formed. Quality towels bathrobes slippers and a cute canvas bag with towels for beach was great! I felt so comfortable and relaxed here and will definitely return with my husband. Great kitchen for those who want to self cater and constant complimentary water coffee tea etc it would be ideal for a private group to book the rooms and have the place together with a kitchen like that and a great front living area. In all my travels I never met anyone as sweet as the cleaning lady she was adorable with a heart of gold and she works so hard and has the place gleaming! Even without English speaking we could communicate and I loved meeting her. The manager was a very nice lady with lots of information about the history of the house. I will be back! :) Oh and the bed was perfect as was the pillows and good pillows are hard to find in hotels!

For now - it's my favourite all inclusive hotel. I've been to many all-inclusives in other countries, but this hotel, it exceeded my expectations. Maybe I didn't expect anything, I thought “at least they would feed me and there would be no russians” but here we came and every day we said that this is incredible hotel and it has a place in our hearts. Here is some info: 1) This is an adult hotel. And that says it all. This is WOW. When you want to relax, to have a quite place, to swim quietly and read a book, this is the perfect place. Sometimes it seemed to us that people were whispering to each other when they were lying on the sun loungers so as not to disturb others. And overall, I liked the hotel guests, no drunk and shouting people, but polite and calm people. 2) Staff. Well, this is a separate love. We often talked to animators and bartenders. They are so cool and nice people. We already miss you Stelly, Chris, Alex, the cool lifeguard at the pool and the bartenders. The kitchen and restaurant staff - you are just beyond praise, you are super professionals! 3) Room. We had a junior suite. Very well maintained, beautiful and stylish. Had everything we needed. Very clean and cool view from the terrace! 4) Food. OMG!!! How delicious and varied it was! I don't like oatmeal, but here I ate even it :)) I liked absolutely everything. There are evenings of different cuisines, for example, Greek, Italian, Asian, etc. There was always different meat, every day there was some kind of fish, and sometimes a whole aquatic kingdom (tuna steaks, salmon, shrimp, octopus, mussels, and other types of fish). Sweets are just the top. Lots of fruits, vegetables, salads, pizza, pasta, soups and much more. As for drinks, we used to buy water in the store. The taste of beverages from the machine - like salt water. Cocktails also have a slightly salty taste, so we ordered a Prosecco. 5) Hotel.

Had a lovely stay with my wife and two young kids. The staff were extremely professional and helpful. They accommodated our request for an earlier check in and even gave us a complimentary room upgrade. There were lots of small touches that made our stay very pleasant such as complimentary champagne / wine in our room, welcome drinks, etc. We made use of a number of the hotel’s facilities including the main restaurant, the gym, pool and the kids club and were very happy with everything. We look forward to staying here again the next time we are in Crete.

We were sadly only here for a quick overnight stay.

We were sadly only here for a quick overnight stay. But during our week in Crete - where we travelled to Chania, Heraklion, and Rethymno - Rethymno was by some margin my favourite destination. Where Chania's historic centre felt as if it had been totally given over to tourism, Rethymno felt more like a substantial town with plenty to explore.

The town is just the right size — not too big.

The town is just the right size — not too big. Its rural and local character really comes through; we even watched goat herders at work just nearby. There’s a good variety of restaurants and several shops. For those with limited mobility, there’s a convenient flat sidewalk running along the beach. If you’re willing to drive a short distance, there are plenty of stunning beaches to choose from depending on the wind direction. It’s an excellent location for beach life and all kinds of water activities. At Paralia Souda, there was also an aid for wheelchair users to get into the water — provided they’re able to transfer into the seat. There’s also lots to do nearby — one tip is to hike up to Saint Paisios Church or visit the nearby mountain villages with their amazing views towards Plakias (see the photo).

A small vibrant fishing village which offers plenty of restaurants and accommodations. The beach is clean but a little small. Water is clean with access via a short walk from the village centre. It is quite hilly and may present problems for certain visitors. Evenings are very lively with many restaurants and some shops. It is centrally placed for journeys to others beaches and destinations such as Matala, Spili and so on.

Spílion is a beautiful little town full of charm and...

Spílion is a beautiful little town full of charm and character. The stone architecture, natural springs, and peaceful atmosphere make it a perfect place to relax and enjoy authentic Crete. The local people were friendly, the food was delicious, and the views of the surrounding mountains were stunning. A lovely stop if you're exploring the island!

A small (very) village in the mountains marketing themselves...

A small (very) village in the mountains marketing themselves as "eco-tourism " by incorporating their history and agriculture to the modern world. Local crafts, Cretan honey, olive oil and cheese, Sfentoni cave and Wood museum by a local sculptor was icing on the cake.

The town has a long sandy beach, great for swimming.

The town has a long sandy beach, great for swimming. The beach is also suitable for children. There are sun loungers and free-to-use beach chairs on the beach. The town is full of restaurants and shops. Several travel agencies offer programs.

Prines is a lovely, quiet little village only a 10 minute...

Prines is a lovely, quiet little village only a 10 minute drive away from the busy city of Rethymno. If you want peace and quiet, Prines delivers. There is a small shop/mini-market, a pharmacy, and a couple of fantastic tavernas. There's nothing else to say other than it's very traditional and quiet and it's only a 2 minute drive away from Atsipopoulo, which is a slightly larger village with more bars and tavernas.

Beautiful olive groves.

Beautiful olive groves. In October you can watch the olives being picked. Lots of nice and wild beaches. If you want to leave your clothes dry, you can even go swimming naked in some. Diving is also nearby. Classic beach 7 minutes by car. You can also rent a boat there. 2 km away, the man has built a lovely little church on the hill.

There is no better city!!!

There is no better city!!! It has absolutely everything you could want. From relaxation to partying. The people are incredibly nice, and the food is the best at Maria's home cooking on Papandreou St. 31.
