We chose this hotel and did not regret it, the room was clean, cleaning every two days, also the room offered towels for the beach, which is very convenient. I was at the hotel for my birthday, when the owner of the hotel found out about it, she made us a surprise, decorating the room with flowers, we were surprised. The beach is 3 minutes walk from the hotel, there are also many different restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance of 2-3 minutes. On the day of departure we had an evening flight, and the owner allowed us to stay until 3 so, really appreciated that. I definitely recommend this place!

I recently stayed at Eleven Boutique Suites and had an amazing time. The hotel is very small, which made it very quiet and relaxing. The owner was incredibly helpful and always made sure I had everything I needed. The facilities were great, and the sea view was absolutely perfect. One of the highlights of my stay was the food at the restaurant. It was some of the most delicious food I've ever had! Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable stay on Crete Island. The combination of great facilities, stunning views, and fantastic food make it a truly special place to stay.

The breakfast buffet had every type of food you would hope to eat for breakfast. The refilled each dish regularly so no matter what time you went for breakfast there was always plenty of food! They even had multiple options for water! Water with lemon, or oranges, cucumber, herbs, sparkling water and also still water. If that doesn't tell you how extensive the variety was, nothing will. The food options were just as extensive and tasty!

We loved everything about Kapsaliana Village Hotel - it’s absolutely stunningly restored and a beautiful place to relax and enjoy the surroundings, the pool etc . The staff were all very welcoming, friendly and efficient. The restaurant served delicious food and wine and the breakfast was exceptional ! We also very much enjoyed a visit to Arkadi monastery and the hike back to the hotel . We can’t wait to go back to Kapsaliana !!

We were sadly only here for a quick overnight stay. But during our week in Crete - where we travelled to Chania, Heraklion, and Rethymno - Rethymno was by some margin my favourite destination. Where Chania's historic centre felt as if it had been totally given over to tourism, Rethymno felt more like a substantial town with plenty to explore.

The town is just the right size — not too big.

The town is just the right size — not too big. Its rural and local character really comes through; we even watched goat herders at work just nearby. There’s a good variety of restaurants and several shops. For those with limited mobility, there’s a convenient flat sidewalk running along the beach. If you’re willing to drive a short distance, there are plenty of stunning beaches to choose from depending on the wind direction. It’s an excellent location for beach life and all kinds of water activities. At Paralia Souda, there was also an aid for wheelchair users to get into the water — provided they’re able to transfer into the seat. There’s also lots to do nearby — one tip is to hike up to Saint Paisios Church or visit the nearby mountain villages with their amazing views towards Plakias (see the photo).

A small vibrant fishing village which offers plenty of restaurants and accommodations. The beach is clean but a little small. Water is clean with access via a short walk from the village centre. It is quite hilly and may present problems for certain visitors. Evenings are very lively with many restaurants and some shops. It is centrally placed for journeys to others beaches and destinations such as Matala, Spili and so on.

A small (very) village in the mountains marketing themselves as "eco-tourism " by incorporating their history and agriculture to the modern world. Local crafts, Cretan honey, olive oil and cheese, Sfentoni cave and Wood museum by a local sculptor was icing on the cake.

Perfect hotel for a one-night layover.

Perfect hotel for a one-night layover. Relatively new facility with all the essentials. Beds and pillows were perfect, how shower, A/C, parking....very clean too. As a bonus there's a great restaurant serving authentic meals and a nice buffet breakfast too. Friendly people.

The town has a long sandy beach, great for swimming. The beach is also suitable for children. There are sun loungers and free-to-use beach chairs on the beach. The town is full of restaurants and shops. Several travel agencies offer programs.

Great village , fab food in the local Tarvenas and local shops. Views are amazing and locals are very friendly and welcoming. Top tip if wanting to eat at Elia book in advance as always busy. The two other taverna’s were good with the local one being great fun. It’s very hilly, not an issue for us. Also not far from Plakias so you have the best of the village and seaside in easy reach .

It's a quiet village with very friendly people and along the beach road you very quickly arrive at the next village that has a mini market and 3 or 4 tavernas. It's not for people looking for nightlife and shops. A car is needed to get there and to be able to go to bigger town with shops and other sights of interest. Our favourite places in Rodakino were Korakas beach cafe; Super market Zafeirakis where the lady was friendly and helpful and Nikos & Anna Taverna. Just a little further away the taverna at Peristeres beach is definitely my favourite place to eat.

Exceptional place to stay in an authentic and charming...

Exceptional place to stay in an authentic and charming Cretan village with everything you would want. A beautiful villa, rustically decorated with grace. Lovely family hosts that make you feel at home. A family owned restaurant that was delicious . We look forward to staying here again in the near future!!!

There is no better city!!!

There is no better city!!! It has absolutely everything you could want. From relaxation to partying. The people are incredibly nice, and the food is the best at Maria's home cooking on Papandreou St. 31.
