Wow! We stumbled upon this place completely by chance. From the moment we arrived, we were enchanted by everything it had to offer—from the uniquely designed units to the luxurious private pool. Every facility in the room contributed to the most enjoyable and comfortable experience we could have asked for—from the shower, to the bathtub, and the bed. The location was also excellent, close to everything we were looking for in the Old City. What truly stood out was the level of service—professionalism, patience, and outstanding interpersonal care. They prepared a thoughtful and generous breakfast for our trip to the airport, and even treated us to a bottle of wine in the evening. Without a doubt, I highly recommend this place and would definitely love to return!

The food was also amazing with a lot of verity but the best thing was the pizza at evening, big ups to him for best pizza I eat. Even the animation team was very good for organizing activities they had a lot of creativity and both good and strong personalities that makes the days even better to have fun with them. We loved the outstanding hospitality from the moment we arrived – the staff was always attentive and greeted us with a warm smile, regularly checking if we needed anything. The à la carte restaurant (Chef’s) was absolutely delicious, accompanied by wonderful live music. Breakfast exceeded our expectations with its variety and quality. We stayed in three different types of rooms, all of which were comfortable and well-maintained. The pool area was fantastic, and the entire hotel was exceptionally clean throughout our stay.

It’s a very vibrant place.

It’s a very vibrant place. If you enjoy looking around shops you will love it. Had lovely restaurants some way more expensive than others but your definitely find something you like at a reasonable price. The beach was lovey very sandy a lot of sun beds the only thing I thought there were a little expensive. Lots of excursions if you want. Basically there is something for everyone. I will definitely return for another visit.

Perfect hotel for a one-night layover. Relatively new facility with all the essentials. Beds and pillows were perfect, how shower, A/C, parking....very clean too. As a bonus there's a great restaurant serving authentic meals and a nice buffet breakfast too. Friendly people.

The town is just the right size — not too big.

The town is just the right size — not too big. Its rural and local character really comes through; we even watched goat herders at work just nearby. There’s a good variety of restaurants and several shops. For those with limited mobility, there’s a convenient flat sidewalk running along the beach. If you’re willing to drive a short distance, there are plenty of stunning beaches to choose from depending on the wind direction. It’s an excellent location for beach life and all kinds of water activities. At Paralia Souda, there was also an aid for wheelchair users to get into the water — provided they’re able to transfer into the seat. There’s also lots to do nearby — one tip is to hike up to Saint Paisios Church or visit the nearby mountain villages with their amazing views towards Plakias (see the photo).

I recommend trying any of the restaurants in Panoramas although our favourites were Palma for drinks and Dusk (next door) as they were both on the seafront. A trip to Margarites (20 minutes by car) was well worth it for some of the ceramic and wooden carving shopping. These items can be almost double in price when spotted in the larger towns. The drive to Spinalonga is around 2 hours but again well worth it and you can take in the ruined Palace at Knossos on the way back. Preveli beach and the old town in Chania were also worth the trip.

A small port but with a traditional feel, with very nice shops for small purchases and very good restaurants. The port's parking gives you the opportunity to have it all at your fingertips, including an evening walk on the port's pier. I highly recommend the Baloon terrace, with a very cozy atmosphere and exceptional food, and the souvenir shop Le Shop (Andredaki Fani), with two levels and a lot of attractive products.

Platanes is quiet.

Platanes is quiet. A lot of tavernas in the area but little in the way of bars or entertainmnent. That said there is a regular bus into Rethymno which has everything and Taxi's are reasonably priced. Very little for young people in the immeidate area of Platanes. I found Platanes a little more expensive than some other areas. While the beach is nice it is very susceptible to the north winds with cause it to close often because of dangerous undercurrents. There is also a deep shelf making getting in and out challenging so not suitable for everyone. The water is fabulous though. The area is up and coming with a lot of development going on which I'm sure will contribute to in a positive way over the coming years.

Our main. reason for visiting the area was because we were attending a wedding. I did find that Adelianos Kampos was located near to a lot of pick ups for tours around Crete to allow you to experience other areas around the island. Many places to eat around the area, but none that really stuck out for me that I would recommend. Just walk around the area because there is much to choose from.

It's a quiet village with very friendly people and along the beach road you very quickly arrive at the next village that has a mini market and 3 or 4 tavernas. It's not for people looking for nightlife and shops. A car is needed to get there and to be able to go to bigger town with shops and other sights of interest. Our favourite places in Rodakino were Korakas beach cafe; Super market Zafeirakis where the lady was friendly and helpful and Nikos & Anna Taverna. Just a little further away the taverna at Peristeres beach is definitely my favourite place to eat.

Very near the sea. 2 very good supermarkets, bakery and chemist. Good restaurants. Not hectic busy so excellent for relaxing break.Local villages of Asteri and Chamalevri within walking distance. As is Pagkalochori which has Asani monastery. Wonderful authentic Cretan experience.

The Old Town is by far one of the best we’ve visited.

The Old Town is by far one of the best we’ve visited. Extensive selection of restaurants and shops whilst retaining all its charm. A stop at Galero bar for a drink is a must, it’s situated right in the heart of the old town next to the much photographed fountain.
