- From $215.95 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.4Very Good - What previous guests thought, 975 reviewsLa Luna hotel has been such a discovery for us. The hotel has a great location, it is quiet, calm and romantic. The beach with cristal clear water is right next to the hotels outdoor pool, so if it is too windy to swim with a little baby in the sea, you can use an outdoor or indoor swimming pool. There is also a sauna and a hot tub. Rooms are big, comfortable, and very clean, bed is also very bug and comfy. Breakfast a d dinner were very tasty, and the stuff is very friendly and polite. Every morning, we could join morning exercises and aqua aerobic plus creative workshops for children. Every evening, there was a mini disco and afterward some entertainment for grown-ups such as music quiz provided by very very nice and interesting host Sandra and her friend Patricija who is also great with kids. We have stayed 7 nights and wish we could have stayed more. Next year we'll come again!Guest review bySanjaCroatia
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 266 reviewsEverything was amazing. The staff were always friendly and made sure our needs were met. The room was very clean and comfortable. The restaurant breakfast buffet offered new things daily and was very good. There was something for the whole family. Dinner at the restaurant in the evening was delicious and romantic with the beautiful sunset. We loved the pool and the beach. Enjoyed lunch and amazing cocktails at the beach bar. The bartenders Maurice and Danny are amazing and know what they are doing. Our kids loved them as well. We wish we could have stayed longer.Guest review byBettinaGermany
- From $110.32 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.8Good - What previous guests thought, 206 reviewsThe hotel is partially renovated, very clean and in a nice location right above the beach. There is enough space on the terrace and it was not too crowded at the time of our visit. The breakfast was very varied. It is served by very friendly and engaged staff. The owners try to make guests feel welcome, which is rare these days. It was one of our best vacations.Guest review byPETERSlovenia

Novalja peaks during summer for the festival season, with Zrce Beach nearby. However, it's a cute small town with its own little charm, I would definitely come at a less busy time (that being said, even during festival season it didn't feel crowded at all), and do some driving to nearby spots on the island. Driving is definitely preferred in Croatia in general (just be aware of limited parking and teeny two way streets), but you can arrive by bus to Novalja too.Guest review byMayaAustralia - 10.0

Our second Croatian island (the first was Lošinj) and another marvel! We were enthralled by the nature, we loved the diverse beaches, the restaurants and food were great, the locals extremely friendly, and for those wondering about Zrće - yes, it is just as lively and fun as everyone is saying. Pag is truly a well-rounded destination and you can be sure there is something for everyone to discover and fall in love with.Guest review byMilkaSerbia - 10.0
Povljana is growing too fast.
Povljana is growing too fast. The rapid construction of unsightly apartment buildings threatens the original charm of this peaceful coastal village and slowly pushes it toward the fate of overcrowded resorts like Makarska. For now, the situation is still bearable – but it feels like a tipping point is approaching. One can only hope that local authorities and residents will act before the soul of the place is lost for good.Guest review byMichalCzech Republic - 10.0
The location is fabulous.
The location is fabulous. The sea is clean and full with sea life. There are at least 3-4 restaurants in Mandre, two grocery shops and 2-3 bakeries. There is a cheese shop about 3 km away in Kolan, that has a lot of tasty local specialties.Guest review byAndrejSlovenia - 8.0
Good: - beautiful beaches in the area
Good: - beautiful beaches in the area - several markets, no need to travel anywhere during the stay - beautiful walking/running trail called 'Life on Mars'. Not good: - near Slana bay there was a concentration camp in the past which is not commemorated in a good way; one have to find the info by their own - I think most of the people are not aware in what kind of area they spend vacation.Guest review byPawełPoland - 10.0
This is a quiet place very good for families with kids.
This is a quiet place very good for families with kids. There are not that many restaurants around. There is a bakery and a small grocery shop. Most of the beaches are for the accommodated guests but there is also one large beach Planjka at the entrance to the village. There are very nice beaches available within 15mins by car - Plaza Jadra and Cista Plaza.Guest review byTomas - 10.0

It’s a fairly remote village, but it’s full of life and really gorgeous. There is a little market where you can buy mostly vegetables, some olive oil stands, but the nearest shop is a 20 min drive away. The olive gardens are really beautiful, you can find nice spots along the trail!Guest review byBrosy - 10.0

Pag is a beautiful place with a distinctive island atmosphere, hospitable inhabitants and acceptable and varied services. Everyone can find a place according to their requirements, even during two weeks there is still something new to discover and get to know. Beautiful place, we will definitely come back.Guest review byPeterSlovakia
