- From $446.31 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.4Very Good - What previous guests thought, 2,902 reviewsI am a fan of Falkensteiner Funimation! Aquí hablan excelente español (Doria), inglés (Mario) y me imagino que muchos otros idiomas. Me and my family always feel at home here and have been coming back every year at least once❣️ Firstly, excellent location and spacious and safe parking space, welcoming, friendly and accommodating staff, comfortable rooms, great food options and amenities, right in front of the beach! 🏖️🍹🍸 I love your flip-flops, every time I go, a pair of typical white and blue flip-flops 🩴awaits for me in the room! So comfortable to wear for dinner, breakfast or to go to the beach! I usually wear them when I go back from my trip until they are destroyed completely from wearing, and many times I have been asked about them! What is Falkensteiner, they look nice, love the colors 💙🫶 This time around, No flip-flops in the room 🥺 so I went to the reception desk to inquire about them. I was so lucky that Doria&Mario were at the desk, they arranged for the flip-flops to be delivered to our room which made me very happy (i got a 38-40 size, i am 42, so this time I wasn’t able to wear them, tried to change them the next day, Doria&Mario were not there, but the girl at the reception said she would look for a bigger size and would send them to the room. I guess the big sizes were gone! ) The way Doria handled the inquiry was very profesional, eager to find the flip-flops in the cabinets that were nowhere to be seen, along with Mario who was very kind an warm at the time of our check-in, meant a lot to me! Thank you 🙏🏼 (we were not able to complete the online check-in so we checked-in at the reception) Also, my mom and I noticed that this year, you put extra trash bins out in the parking area which we loved, very, very useful!Guest review byTaniaCroatia

Beautiful old town, I ate in 4 different restaurants and it was all delicious. Definitely go and sit for an hour at sunset at the sea organ, it's an experience I will always remember. There is a mini beach right beside the park which is worth going to if you enjoy swimming. All the people are very friendly!Guest review byPhoebe - 10.0

Novalja peaks during summer for the festival season, with Zrce Beach nearby. However, it's a cute small town with its own little charm, I would definitely come at a less busy time (that being said, even during festival season it didn't feel crowded at all), and do some driving to nearby spots on the island. Driving is definitely preferred in Croatia in general (just be aware of limited parking and teeny two way streets), but you can arrive by bus to Novalja too.Guest review byMayaAustralia - 8.0
This city is ideal for families with children.
This city is ideal for families with children. Nice beaches - small pebbles, gradual access to the sea, azure sea, promenades around the sea, funny park for children. The disadvantage is that there are no historical monuments here. It gives the impression of being more of a tourist city without history. Therefore, it is advisable to visit other cities in the area - for example, Zadar, Šibenik.Guest review byLucieCzech Republic - 8.0

Vir is quite tourist-centric, which has its advantages and, unfortunately, its disadvantages. The island itself is beautiful, I like the hustle and bustle (although we were in Lozice, a little further north, in a quieter part) and there are quite a few restaurants to choose from. However, the shops in the area are like the domestic (Hungarian) department stores at Christmas, no matter what time of year we went shopping: full, the lines barricaded, a minimum of 10-15 minutes waiting at the cashiers. The beaches are nice, the ones we went to were clean, although unfortunately I saw quite a few people littering... There is also the possibility of a short excursion around the red rocks on the far side of the island, the view from there is amazing. The locals were nice, but the car traffic is quite chaotic - narrow streets, everyone is in a hurry, not many people know the stop sign, etc.Guest review byPéter - 10.0

Our second Croatian island (the first was Lošinj) and another marvel! We were enthralled by the nature, we loved the diverse beaches, the restaurants and food were great, the locals extremely friendly, and for those wondering about Zrće - yes, it is just as lively and fun as everyone is saying. Pag is truly a well-rounded destination and you can be sure there is something for everyone to discover and fall in love with.Guest review byMilkaSerbia - 10.0

Small costal town for a good rest, food and just enjoying some peace and quiet. Has two amazing beaches with sandy bottoms. Galija&Olivietum are places to visit. The church is main attraction. Also Vransko lake is close by so be sure to visit and have some birdeatching.Guest review byMiroslav - 8.0

Sukosan is a a good place for a quiet break. The beach isn't crowded and there is a lovely atmosphere both in the daytime and evenings. We would recommend the Hotel Belvedere and Konoba Piazzetta for evening meals.Guest review byPeterUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Bibinje is smaller town with nice beaches and little city center. We return back several years in a row. It´s short distance to Zadar and Nin where we visit sand beach. We recommend this destination to those who prefer calmer places. We visited beach Padrele and Lipauska in Bibinje. Both are very nice. Lipauska beach has a few bars and paddleboards can be borrowed there.Guest review byNikolCzech Republic - 10.0

Great vibe in the area. Good local restaurants. Used Pizza Peperoni which was great, Mad Suck and Konoba Kampanel. All took card payment. Restaurant Tomislav only accepted cash - with 140€ bill I would have liked to be made aware in advance Bakery staff super welcoming. Would have been good to know in advance about a public holiday the day after arrivalGuest review byStef - 10.0

A small city with a lot to do. Not too crowded, with a living night life. This is a city that is not well known yet and it is evolving tourist wise. Best thing for price/quality. Parking are cheap or free, restaurants are not too expensive...Guest review byLeonard
