- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Excellent - What previous guests thought, 1,833 reviewsIt's nice and cozy.. a straw-hut camp with no electricity (other than a few small wall lamps and usb ports that take like 8 hours to charge a phone) underneath big pine trees, lots of plants.. almost like staying at a botanical garden. Did not have problems any with mosquitoes and could sleep all night without worrying.. And although every bed has a mosquito net, I imagine if they're active, the stay gets les enjoyable :) The food was great. I imagine in peak season the lines at getting the food get annoyingly long.. but it wasn't all that crowded and the lines were manageable :) The beach is also awesome - lots of shade and sun, depending what you like. There is a crowded sandy part ideal for playing with the kids.. And rocky parts all around where you can enjoy with less people around.. Also, a lot of activities and things to do (sports.. or take a kayak or a sup.. or learn sailing or wind surfing).. and a lot of activities interesting to kids (like mini disco and other entertainment programs). We had luck and great weather each day.. i don't know how cozy it would feel on stormy nights.. or days :)Guest review byZoranCroatia

Beautiful old town, I ate in 4 different restaurants and it was all delicious. Definitely go and sit for an hour at sunset at the sea organ, it's an experience I will always remember. There is a mini beach right beside the park which is worth going to if you enjoy swimming. All the people are very friendly!Guest review byPhoebe - 10.0
Unlike many other destinations along the Croatian coast...
Unlike many other destinations along the Croatian coast during peak season, prices here are quite reasonable – whether it’s for accommodation, dining in restaurants, or shopping in local stores. The beaches are not overly crowded, even in the busiest part of the season. There is plenty of natural shade, the water is clean, and the overall atmosphere is calm and family-friendly. Another thing that truly stands out is how kind and welcoming the local people are – from hosts to restaurant staff and shopkeepers, everyone made us feel at home.Guest review byMaticBosnia and Herzegovina - 8.0

Vir is quite tourist-centric, which has its advantages and, unfortunately, its disadvantages. The island itself is beautiful, I like the hustle and bustle (although we were in Lozice, a little further north, in a quieter part) and there are quite a few restaurants to choose from. However, the shops in the area are like the domestic (Hungarian) department stores at Christmas, no matter what time of year we went shopping: full, the lines barricaded, a minimum of 10-15 minutes waiting at the cashiers. The beaches are nice, the ones we went to were clean, although unfortunately I saw quite a few people littering... There is also the possibility of a short excursion around the red rocks on the far side of the island, the view from there is amazing. The locals were nice, but the car traffic is quite chaotic - narrow streets, everyone is in a hurry, not many people know the stop sign, etc.Guest review byPéter - 10.0

Our second Croatian island (the first was Lošinj) and another marvel! We were enthralled by the nature, we loved the diverse beaches, the restaurants and food were great, the locals extremely friendly, and for those wondering about Zrće - yes, it is just as lively and fun as everyone is saying. Pag is truly a well-rounded destination and you can be sure there is something for everyone to discover and fall in love with.Guest review byMilkaSerbia - 10.0

Small costal town for a good rest, food and just enjoying some peace and quiet. Has two amazing beaches with sandy bottoms. Galija&Olivietum are places to visit. The church is main attraction. Also Vransko lake is close by so be sure to visit and have some birdeatching.Guest review byMiroslav - 8.0

Bibinje is smaller town with nice beaches and little city center. We return back several years in a row. It´s short distance to Zadar and Nin where we visit sand beach. We recommend this destination to those who prefer calmer places. We visited beach Padrele and Lipauska in Bibinje. Both are very nice. Lipauska beach has a few bars and paddleboards can be borrowed there.Guest review byNikolCzech Republic - 10.0
Great vibe in the area. Good local restaurants.
Great vibe in the area. Good local restaurants. Used Pizza Peperoni which was great, Mad Suck and Konoba Kampanel. All took card payment. Restaurant Tomislav only accepted cash - with 140€ bill I would have liked to be made aware in advance Bakery staff super welcoming. Would have been good to know in advance about a public holiday the day after arrivalGuest review byStef - 10.0
A small city with a lot to do.
A small city with a lot to do. Not too crowded, with a living night life. This is a city that is not well known yet and it is evolving tourist wise. Best thing for price/quality. Parking are cheap or free, restaurants are not too expensive...Guest review byLeonard - 10.0
Petrcane is a quiet village 25mins from Zadar.
Petrcane is a quiet village 25mins from Zadar. You would have to take a taxi. There’s everything you need for a quiet getaway but plenty to do also. The hotel which you can visit offer lovely food options and plenty of places to sit and have after dinner drinks by the beach. Zadar airport is about 45 mins away.Guest review byJohannaIreland
