It’s like going back in the past!Wonderful place with a historical meaning. Amazing Staff working 0-24, we came off season. All staff were very friendly. I do not remember a more quiet place ever (in a good way!). We just booked for the night to rest midway on a long trip but I can say I found our next vacation place. The place is fully fenced and has a secured entrance to the parking. I must repeat, I have been to many hotels and places, but this was definitely the most calm and relaxing one, nothing more relaxing than the sound of a small breeze hitting on the boat lines and the delicate ringing...

The location is absolutely perfect — right by Lake Balaton and the beautiful promenade, with amazing views and a relaxing atmosphere. The hotel has been nicely renovated, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the balcony was a lovely bonus.The private beach and pool area made the stay even more enjoyable, especially during warm days.Breakfast and dinner offered a great variety of food.What we loved most was the combination of great location, relaxing atmosphere, and excellent value for money. It’s a perfect choice for couples, families, or anyone wanting to enjoy Balatonfüred comfortably. We would definitely come back again!

This place is amazing, extremely well maintained and gorgeous garden, very comfortable and well equipped accommodations. The pool is gorgeous, nice, clean water and very pleasant. The event rooms and the restaurant is nice and there is a fire pit in the garden as well. Everything is nice and spacious and the garden with the ancient trees is simply breath-taking.

Such a lovely town, with a great holiday feel to it.

Such a lovely town, with a great holiday feel to it. Easy to navigate by foot, train, bus or bicycle. The surrounding towns are also lovely for day trips. The promenade next to the water in the evenings is really lovely to walk along as well.

Beautiful location, amazing views of the lake, the Rege...

Beautiful location, amazing views of the lake, the Rege coffeehouse is a must to do. There are hiking trails in Tihany which take a few hours to complete and it is possible to cross the lake with the ferry to the other side easily. Fabulous location for a short weekend trip close to Budapest.

Nice, small city with (paid) beach at Balaton lake. Full of tourist in the centre(parkings also paid) but if you go uphill - towards hills - you can find not only delicious wine but relaxing atmosphere.

Travelling by train was really covenient.

Travelling by train was really covenient. The city is beautiful and you can walk everywhere or take the bus. We tried places like Elefánt for lunch, Kunszt for breakfast, Füge for cake and Papírkutya for drinks. an All these palces had great food/drinks and lovely vibes!

Tapolca is a small, charming town where the Mill Pond and the Lake Cave offer a truly unique experience. Romantic little cafés, restaurants, and shopping centers (yes, even a McDonald's) are also available, catering well to those with such preferences.

I really enjoyed my stay.

I really enjoyed my stay. The room was spacious and the beds firm, which is what I like. The breakfast was excellent and I really liked the staff. Balint (spelling?) in particular was very pleasant and helpful. It is not a fancy hotel, but it is an ideal spot to spend a few days in Balatonalmadi. Just be aware that there is no lift so if you have heavy bags or struggle with luggage, that could be a problem. Balint was kind enough to help me with my luggage downstairs when I left so that was appreciated. But there are usually no staff to assist with bags.

Great family destination. Very kid friendly.

Great family destination. Very kid friendly. The town was walkable with lots of restaurants and places to check out. Having a car is ideal to explore further but there is also public transport from what we saw. Highly recommend renting bikes to get around too as it is extremely bike friendly.

Beautiful excursion place - Hungarian Provence.

Beautiful excursion place - Hungarian Provence. I recommend visiting outside the main tourist season. The prices are higher, but the place offers an excellent starting point for walking, cycling or car tourism around Lake Balaton.

Badacsony is a another wonderful spot on Lake Balaton.

Badacsony is a another wonderful spot on Lake Balaton. Walking around the area is very scenic. There is the port area , recently renovated, great innovative playground for kids. Also on display was a history of famous architect , with one of his structures recently renovated. The strand , the paying beach is well maintained and has lots of shady trees to sit under if hot. The hills are dotted with wineries , took many photos of the traditional housing structures. Had lots of choice for eating out from simple food to fine dining. The main town centre has lots if large trees which make it very cooling on a hot summer days ( Too many places have too much concrete ) Area well catered for those on bikes , also have hire bike shop in town.

Veszprém is a wonderful, pedestrian-friendly city.

Veszprém is a wonderful, pedestrian-friendly city. The well-maintained walking trails connects many natural and cultural destinations. The zoo is very well equipped and has a wide variety of animals. The walking trail along the Séd stream, the Castle and Benedek Hill are wonderful.
