I don't often give 10 scores to resorts but in the case of Gili Teak, even this probably isn't enough. Located in an idyllic spot on the sunset side of Gili T, the beachfront views simply take your breath away! The staff are extremely friendly and the food is amazing. They provide bikes to their guests and this is really helpful as motor vehicles or cabs aren't allowed on the island (the horse carts are convenient but expensive). We stayed for 3 nights but if we had known how awesome this place was we would have definitely planned for a longer halt. I sincerely hope I get to visit and stay in Gili Teak again.

I have just stayed at Melmay which has recently been renovated to a great standard. From the moment I checked in I felt right at home. The staff were amazing and accommodated to my every need. I went to watch sunrise as it is just down the road. I usually skip breakfast but I am glad I didn’t with this one. The scrambled eggs with homemade toast were fantastic. Highly recommend.

    Absolutely everything, staff is excellent, friendly,polite and very helpful and professional. Rooms are big and beautiful, clean, spacious, resort is stunning with the nature, rooms from outside look like traditional houses. Two pools just amazing, one more quite to relax and other one to have some good time with good music and delicious cocktails. Food is great and dinner on the beach is breathaking. Been a lot around the world and staying in a lot of hotels amd resorts, but this one had a special charm.

    Best accommodation we have stayed in ever. A little private sanctuary in the middle of Gili T. Breakfasts were amazing with so many options, orange juice was delicious, clean and tidy every day, free bikes included was great, private pool was amazing, staff were incredible - they remembered our names every day which was so lovely. Hotel manager goes above and beyond. Great location right in the middle, less than 10 min bike ride to either side.

    Honestly one of the best - if not the best - hotels I've ever stayed at. The swimming pool is lovely and the staff is incredibly nice. The rooms are clean and spacious. Oh, and the breakfast is brilliant with a lot of variation and choices. The vibe at Gili Trawangan certainly contributes to this. Rent a bike here and enjoy everything the island has to offer. Absolutely recommended!

    The Gili Islands are truly a beautiful place, with crystal-clear waters. Especially Gili Meno, where you can escape the crowds of tourists and the noise of nightlife. But be careful — unfortunately, one of the biggest issues on the island is the litter left behind by tourists, which takes away some of the charm of these amazing islands. There are no cars here; people get around using electric scooters or small horse-drawn carriages. If you're looking for fun, head to Gili Air or Gili T. But if you want peace and quiet and to enjoy the sea, Gili Meno is the perfect choice.

    Gili T has lots of potential, but at the moment it feels a bit overcrowded and overexplored. Things are a bit dirty and messy outside the beach clubs. Access inside the land is poor. Boat access is a bit chaotic.

    Beautiful island with some amazing beaches. Turtle beach was our favourite. Renting bikes made getting around quicker but you are able to walk everywhere. Worth getting a nice cold drink everywhere you go. We loved the many cats on the island.

    A really beautiful island, so relaxing with lots of stunning beaches and a lovely laid back feel. Great snorkelling, lots of turtles & superb food & cocktails!! We also went to Gilli air but we much preferred Gilli menu, it’s pure paradise.

    Not the location for me with my wife more for the younger...

    Not the location for me with my wife more for the younger backpackers type. Would not recommend. No sandy beach. Difficult to get in to the sea for swimming / snorkelling. If you stay on the sea front it looks fine but as soon as you venture off the front the. Island is not the best in terms of cleanliness.

    More of a family culture, not as crowded as Gili T. Excellent value for money and the service culture of the residents is amazing. Easy to hire bicycles and scooters (electric) - essential. So many little gems to be found. A 2nd hand book shop, lovely places to eat, Gili Coffee Roasters became a favourite. Scallywags on the beach couldn't do too much for us.

    It is an all natural experience!

    It is an all natural experience! Walking around the islands, bare foot in sandy roads, eat in restaurants in the sand, swim in crystal clear waters and with the company of the turtles! It was amazing! But as in overall Indonesia, the trash issue needs to be considered urgently!!
