Easily on of the best hotels i have ever been too They clean rooms really thoroughly every day. Greet you every time you come. Ready to help with taxi, sim cards, tours etc. Rooms are big, ac works perfectly, lights are bright, toilets are sparkling clean. Lots of facilities are located at walking distance from the hotel. The location is perfect. I stayed in a beautiful room on level 88, and the view was absolutely stunning. The hotel exceeded my expectations. What an amazing experience! Extremely helpfull and very professional staff who helped us with everything.The dinner was star worthy, amazing flavours, a whole and special experience. Our best food we had in our one month travel in Indonesia. The room is splendid, architecture is divine! We felt like kings. Gunder was our driver, he is also very recommended! Also, the most important tip: visit Borobudur center and not just the temples, that was for us the best experience, even better then the temple, the people of Borobudor with an amazing big heart so friendly and genuine.So go visit the center, the market is very close.

Staying in Jakarta was a wonderful experience; I had the opportunity to make a short visit to Yogyakarta during the weekend, and the transportation network to reach every corner of Jakarta was fantastic from City centre. You get plenty of eating places in Jakarta, however, most of the time I was changing between different places inside Grand Indonesia.

Mount Merapi (you can take a jeep to the summit, but I didn't), Borobudur, and Prambanan Temple are worth a visit, although the entrance fee is quite high for Asia. Maliobor Street is a must-see. Kotagede with its narrow streets, as well as the water castle and the Sultan's Palace, should be on your to-do list. Tebing Breksi might be nice in the dark, but otherwise skip it. I skipped the sights that required a drive of over 1.5 hours (Hutan Pinus Pengger, Jomblang Cave, Timang Beach, Watu Giring). The roads in Indonesia aren't that good. The Central Air Force Museum Dirgantara Mandala required an invitation, which, of course, I didn't have. Strange.

Even if you only think of it as an airport transit station, you should at least be able to wash and shower, but it doesn't. The shower head, which is fixed to the wall and has a lot of rust, barely works.

My last visit to Surabaya was about 10 years ago. The city had transformed to be nicer and cleaner. Shopping malls were excellent now, cleaner. Keep it up. Surprisingly bluebird taxis were still available, but driver's honesty was questionable at times (meter rates).

Everything is perfect but only one thing that I have really uncomfortable. That is internet connection !!!!! I can not fully watch YouTube or Netflix bt my laptop. Wifi signal continously has drorpped so it is very difficult to watch any streaming. Even I have to access to my company web for working. Something is happened. I can not work because very low level of internet connection and internet speed. I didn't have any internet issue when I was in Jakarta and Borgor during similar times (I was in jakarta and borgor one week ago) If you have to do something with internet, I can not recommend this hotel. It is very very terribles

A nice city with outdoors options for entertainment. A magnificent botanical garden. eating, shopping and facilities, gyms and wellness centers. Nice wide roads with lovely architecture and vegetation. Close by the volcanos and thee plantations ideal for day trips.

Malang was definitely an amazing experience. we walked downtown and visited the heritage village, what an amazing place!! we also went to this beautiful restaurant called ( SaigonSan ) which looks like a temple form the inside . the food is really good and unexpectedly affordable. and of course would recommend the Bromo, Ejin and Tumpak sewu tours . otally worth it especially the waterfalls

Authentic introduction to a broad Javanese experience from traditional markets to modern shopping malls. Ancient palaces , streets packed with carts and traders , a look into the past. Very safe with smiles and welcomes everywhere . Truly lovely people , helpful and kind, anyone we came into contact with, staff, shop keepers, drivers - whatever - were overwhelmingly polite and caring with manners and curtesy . Plenty to see in the area. A day trip to Prambanan a pleasant 90 minutes through interesting landscape.

ijen is pretty much overrated, it's a nice 6-hour-ish hike with above medium difficulty, the flame is underwhelming which is slightly bigger than a camp fire and the crater? go to Bromo instead. With the current volcano incident related to the Brazilian tourist, I am more convinced that people should be aware of tour guide's quality and training in East Java. Upon reading some brief information about traveling to Ijen, I found to mandatory in getting a guide, I went there alone and caught weird looks from other guides, some avoided my interactions when they found out I was alone, some others was good and paying attention.
