Compared to other hotel/guesthouses we have stayed in Sumatra/Java, this hotel was amazing. And that for a decent price. Finally a room which was actually clean. The lobby feels luxurious and the room did too. 2 hand towels, 2 small towels, 2 big towels and shower utilities. Coffee and tea, a kettle and mini fridge the room. The blankets and pillows very comfortable. The location was not in the city centre but was perfect for us. We ended up booking 1 night extra and stayed for 3 nights in total.

I didn’t expect anything in the beginning with such budget price but after stayed, I think that this guest house must be the best in Java. I have lived in Indonesia for decades and I know what the quality of budget hotels are in Java, which are normally very dirty and staff never care the guests after checked in. This guest house offers free Nescafé.. this was the first time for me to see the Nescafé in budget hotel in Java. ( Normally budget hotel offers local coffee only) Nice surprise.

Lovely boutique type resort with all modern amenities. Loved the cottage I was in. Big and spacious. This was the at the end of the property. Away from the pool. Lovely to sit on the veranda and read. There is an homely atmosphere everywhere. Staff are very helpful. Food was excellent for me. I like Indonesian / Javanese food so was quite happy to have what was on the menu. They even went out of the way to prepare a local dish specially for me called "nasi liwet".

Excellent facilities. Great soundproofing, we did not wake up to the morning prayers in this location like we did in other Java hotels. Rooftop pool is great. Staff very helpful and nice. We ended up staying an extra night because we enjoyed it so much. Neighborhood had good food options, we tried a good local fish place around the corner, a cookie shop, a ramen shop, and a sate mom and pop type place which were all among the best food we had on our trip.

It was a very nice experience. Me and my friend took the dorm room in which there were 6 beds. This hostel is very clean, the cleaning lady is very nice and does a very good job. The owner of the hostel is very friendly, he helped us with lots of advice, he even arrange for us daily trips to temples and caves. He knows very well Java and helps us to make plans for our next stops which were very good recommendations. The garden is very beautiful.

We loved staying in this authentic Javanese home enjoying the hospitality of a very gracious hostess and the chance to meet local guests. Nothing like sitting in a covered verandah enjoying a tropical Javanese evening. For a little extra she made us a beautiful breakfast with freshly squeezed fruit juices and great coffee. Easy Grab ride to excellent restaurants and city centre. Take time away from hotels for a special Javanese experience.

Location, Breakfast really nice! Javanese breakfast Indonesian breakfast western breakfast in one. It’s worth than the price. I’m also hotelier who work in F&B industry, i always take a look of many different types of breakfasts. But here, taste and price are balanced. Good taste good price. The staff was so kind and helpful. “This is Jogjakarta people attitude” front, restaurant, housekeeping, security their service were so superb.

Hotel is really well maintained with nice rooms and essentially a private beach out the back door. Didn't have time to see the turtles, but spent two nights relaxing and made a visit to the Green Bay thanks to the owner Hadi who took me on his motorbike. It's tough to get to, but it's a great place to break up a journey between Java and Bali or vice versa. Make sure you have your own transport or arrange pick up in advance.

It was a spacious apartment suite. 3 bedrooms are enough for 5 family to stay. It is not two storey apartment type, so my elderly parents does not need to take stairs to their room. Room was clean and the interior is nice to take photos. View is amazing. Host was responsive, so it was convenient for us to communicate. Location wise, Paris Van Java and Ruma Mode factory outlet are around 10mins apart by car like Gojek or Grab.

The swimming pool and breakfast. The swimming pool is located in the backyard of the hotel. It is big enough and beautifully located. The buffet style breakfast is also impressive. Especially the bread as well as the cinnamon rolls are homemade, let alone Javanese food such as tempe goreng and oseng-oseng tahu. Plus, the staff are so kind and caring. I even regret having not known this hotel much before.

My second visit and I will return again. The staff and service were outstanding making me and my family feel truly welcome. Beautiful hotel with the ambiance of old Java creates a warm, cultural experience. The hotel's location in the old city is ideal for anyone looking to explore the area on foot. The breakfast was delicious with a choice of Western and Indonesian dishes. Highly recommended!

Top-notch hospitality, all the staff were friendly and helpful. The Javanese architecture was beautiful. Overlooking the village and Borobudur temple. There were plenty of vegetarian dishes to choose from and they were delicious - though one dish marked as vegetarian had anchovies, not a problem for me and easy to separate from the dish. The Dadar Gulung - Indonesian coconut pancakes were delicious.

Everything was just great. The room is clean, reasonably spacious, and well equipped. Swimming pool has always been great since our first visit many years ago. Breakfast at Kemangi is superb. Many varieties including traditional javanese health drinks and cakes. Continental, american, asian, and indonesian breakfasts are available. Staff have been the strong point of this Hyatt. Very attentive.

This property is centrally located with lots of interesting shops and things to see in the area. Just outside the hotel you will find coffee shops and local students enjoying coffee into the evening. The people in this area  are very friendly, and we walked around at night with no issue. The staff were friendly but not overly attentive, par for the course at this price range in Java IMO.

Room was runned down. Light from the front door shines into the room throughout the night. Not enough power points at reachable areas to charge devices. Breakfast was a score of below 5. Overcooked plasticky fried eggs. Instant coffee?! This is Indonesia! There should be a decent cup of Java! Only saving grace is the staff and the monument right next to it! Great service!

Great hotel with exceptional service! The breakfast was a fantastic way to start each day. I particularly enjoyed the Jamu tasting bar, which provided a wonderful introduction to local cultural practices. The Javanese treatment at the spa was outstanding. This hotel was the perfect retreat for recovering from jet lag and kicking off our exploration of the city!

A perfect retreat in the Java Jungle. Rice fields beneath your villa. Remote and beautiful. We got free room upgrade. The breakfast was very rich. Like above 5 star hotel ! Friendly and useful stuff. Helped us with Ijen tour, private dish request, java chilly seeds, special tea request. Perfect location to took drone/camera field rice workers.

The hostel has a modern-Javanese touch that makes it feel very cozy. We loved how well-maintained everything was, from the common areas to the rooms. The staff were very friendly and gave us excellent recommendations on where to eat and what to do in Banyuwangi. We also took the shuttle service to Bali, and everything was arranged seamlessly.

Great location, wonderful atmosphere and superb location quiet yet central in Bogor. Perfect place to land and get accustomed to Indonesia and only 1,5 hour drive from International airport. Owner is very responsive online, and can arrange next stays in other cities in Java and will arrange drivers as you require. Professional, friendly.

The hotel was close to Paris Van Java, an outdoor shopping mall perfect for families. The staff were very friendly and very accommodating. The beds were very comfy and the view from the rooms, seeing Bandung light up at night, was the highlight. As well as the staff speak English so it definitely made the check in experience easier
