This is a wonderful rural inn with a terrific restaurant. We booked it because it was close to several places in Abruzzo we planned to visit, and because of its promising menu. And we were not disappointed. The owner is warm and eager to help with anything. When we checked in, I commented that the day's menu included tripe, which i do like. that evening, our waiter started by asking if i was the guest who wanted tripe. and i did.

    Lovely old but well-maintained building at the center of the village, with lovely views across the hills and mountains of Gran Sasso. Very friendly and helpful staff. Truly exceptional restaurant as part of the hotel, serving a fantastic dinner and very good authentic Italian breakfast.

    Beautiful historic mountain-top village with amazing views and lovely architecture. There are very few options for eating out in town but if you have a car, you will have several affordable, high quality options in nearby villages.
