The staff is absolutely amazing. They always greet you with a big smile and go out of their way to ensure you’re having an enjoyable stay. Dalin in particular was amazing. She helped us plan out our week and figure out how to bus to Laos after. Mr. Ra, our TukTuk driver arranged through the hotel, was also fantastic. We did the three day tour of Angkor Wat with Mr. Ra and we thoroughly enjoyed our time with him. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The AC works very well. We loved using the big bathtub after a long day of walking. The pool was also a fantastic feature. The hotel is in a great area, as it’s about a 15-20 minute walk to the Old Market and Pub Street. Finally, nothing could beat the buffet breakfast (2 warm dishes, sugar donuts, croissants, toast, buns, 2 types of fruit, plus coffee and tea). We were very sad to leave here and would 1000% recommend to anyone to stay at Residence 1960. You’ll be so happy you did.

Everything. Start with the free airport pick-up with a sweet and fresh coconut provided on your way to the hotel will reduce your tiredness of your trip and start enjoying Siem Reap. The warm welcome from the staffs (Long, Steven, others) will take care everthing for your wonderful holiday during your stay. The hotel owner, Mr. David, was friendly and took time to greet us, and make sure everything is okay. I was travelling with my mother. Mr. David changed our room on ground floor instead, which is of course made it very easy to my mother. Thank you for this. All hotel facility is perfect, the room is very clean and good stuffs. The impressive hotel interior mixed between culture stuffs and some pictures of country legendar singers (I asked the hotel about this) I think as a tribute. The refreshing swimming pools. All good treats: fruit provided at room, free drinks, and a botel of wine. The free laundry for unlimited need to be notednhere. The hotel also take care everthing for you. We booked one day tour to Angkor Wat by tuk tuk. The guide, Sinet is beyond good, he explained very well, know about country history, and take care his guests, my Mother who often need a break. Also the tuk tuk driver drove comfortably and ready with water for us after our sigthseeing. The hotel also helped us with arranging cooking class. It was a good one. So I definetely will recommend this hotel. This is my second visit to Siem Reap. When there is opportunity to be back, will definetely will stay again in this hotel. I salute Mr. David and his staffs for all their efforts to provide the best services to their guests.

Oh, staff in that hotel is just exceptional! Outstanding! Paying attention to the details! When I booked the room in that hotel, it was with two beds, when I checked in I’ve been offered to upgrade to one bedroom! That room was facing a street and I am very light sleeper, so I just mentioned that after the first night during my breakfast, straight away they offered me two rooms to choose from! Housekeeper would clean my room daily without me asking for it, water bottles were provided on a daily basis with some tea bags! Breakfast is nice, fresh kimchi was just a cherry on top! Since my flight was in the evening but check out is at 12 pm, I left my bag and went to explore the city! Came back sweating like a pig! Receptionist offered me to take a shower in a spa room! Then offered me a glass of water! I was speechless!

This is a great place to stay clean lines, no fussy details. Very good amenities, comfortable bed but just a little bit small for the bathroom. We had breakfast in the all day dining restaurant. The food selection was very good. There are few issues that can be resolved quite easily. Here also have a free Wifi too. At afternoon around 2:50pm, we did a private Tour ( Big Tour with sun set).

Beautiful, bright, modern room with lovely design. All staff were warm and welcoming, and helpful, no matter what the request. The location couldn't be better - close to Pub Street (but far enough away), but most importantly close to the river and all the restaurants and shops along it. We were about a 15 minute Tuk Tuk drive away from Angkor Wat, making it easy to access for our sunrise. I was pleasantly surprised to find two swimming pools and a gym which enhanced our stay as there was something to do during the hot, hot afternoons in March when viewing the temples would have been too much for us. Breakfast was simple but more than enough, buffet style with a made to order choice of eggs, rice, noodles, etc. The room was cleaned twice a day! Love the focus on sustainability and that you can drink the tap water and that glass water bottles are provided. This alone would make us stay again.

Travelling to Siem Reap during the wet season is great if you can plan a longer stay. The land is lush and green. It rains mostly in the afternoon and for only 1-2 hours. Low season means lower prices. Angkor archaeological sites are less crowded. Enough indoor activities for wet-weather like visits to APOPO, Lotus farm, Kun khmer gym session, museums, shopping etc.

I had the absolute pleasure of staying at Bronam Residence & Spa in Siem Reap, and it was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and heartfelt hospitality that made me feel right at home. The food was truly a highlight—every meal was a delightful blend of authentic Khmer flavors and international cuisine, beautifully presented and bursting with freshness. Whether it was breakfast by the pool or a candlelit dinner at the restaurant, every bite was memorable. The facilities were top-notch. The rooms were impeccably clean, elegantly designed, and offered the perfect balance of comfort and style. The serene pool, lush gardens, and relaxing spa created a peaceful atmosphere that was perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring the temples. But what truly sets Bronam apart is the outstanding hospitality. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and personalized. They were always attentive, friendly, and genuinely caring—nothing felt transactional, everything felt sincere. I wholeheartedly recommend Bronam Residence & Spa to anyone visiting Siem Reap. It's a hidden gem that delivers luxury, tranquility, and the kind of service that makes you want to come back again and again.

I had an excellent stay at Angkor Home 27th! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my visit. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. I love Siem Reap so much I have come back time and time again. Everyone is so friendly, helpful and makes you feel at home. I recommend walking along the river and grabbing a bite to eat from one of the vendors. Also try Tevy's restaurant you won't be disappointed. Everything is cooked fresh to order, so you have to wait a bit but its so worth it.

Siem Reap is wonderful: a unique place and one of the most special in the world. It has plenty of bars and restaurants and a lovely riverside area. (The variety and quality of food is among the best I’ve experienced in Southeast Asia) It’s also very bike-friendly, with many dedicated cycle lanes (one extending pretty well all the way to Angkor Wat.) The Angkor Wat archeological park is amazing. If you have time, my advice is to go for the seven-day pass valid for a month. That way, you can spend a day or half day at Angkor, break it up with time in Siem Reap, and instead of suffering “temple-fatigue,” from trying to see too much in too short a time, really appreciate how special the place is. And, for me, the best way to see it is by bicycle. The terrain is flat. The roads are (mostly) good and quiet, and there are many cycle lanes. There’s plenty of cycle hire places in the area. I used Bayon MTB Project. The man who runs it is real bike enthusiast and is always working on maintaining the machines, which, in consequence are in very good condition. If, while in some remote part of Angkor (or anywhere else) you should have a puncture or other problem with your bike, he’ll come to you to fix things. He and his wife also do a lot of work with children in the area. Basically, then, good people, good bikes, good prices and great service.
