The staff were incredible, friendly and helpful and constantly full of happiness, nothing was too much trouble. There are lots of attention to detail as well, free snacks in your room, little notes on the desk, free Christmas Eve buffet, free kiting, all you need in terms of booking tours and scooters. Had a very comfortable, restful and yet, at the same time, fun stay at this hotel. Absolutely love the artwork placed around and I am totally in awe at how well designed this place is. The location is perfect - there are at least 4 different spas for you to choose from within walking distance in case you need a massage. Lots of food options in the area too! The hotel also provided some nice surprises during the stay :)

    The sheer size of the grounds. If you like to jog/walk, no need to leave the property. Also they had yoga, Aqua aerobics and pickle-ball available. As well as a gym. The pools are massive. The café is open 24hrs. Across the road the are many cafes/ restaurants to eat. So cheap. It also has a beautiful local-cultural feel about it. We have been coming to Langkawi for many years & only ever stay here!! 🫶🏼 Thank you to the lovely friendly staff who always welcome us back! 🥰

    The staff with a five-star hotel level of friendliness. Actually, even more than that! It feels like seeing an old, good friend One of the front desk staff, Mr. HAFI, was incredibly friendly, making it feel like seeing an old friend! I saw him in a long-sleeve shirt, sweating profusely, yet he remained so kind and patient while answering my questions. I was genuinely worried he might suffer from heatstroke or faint right in front of me.

    Everything, from the luxurious and warm welcome to the very last bits of details, Danna did a great job. Special mention for Amirul, the lovely staff who works at the restaurant. He went above and beyond to make our daughter a nice bowl of chicken soup noodle when he realised that her bowl of tom yum soup noodle was perhaps too spicy for a 6-year-old’s liking. We enjoyed the large pool, gym and the kids play area!

    Average Malaysian town.

    Average Malaysian town. Not much to do other than a couple museums/art gallery. I'm there to visit family, but would not go out of my way to take a holiday there. Ramadan bazaar was a highlight, though.

    Kuah is just about decent but i would prefer the Cenang Beach area . If you can't get a hotel there, Kuah should be your next choice. The Island is small so you can get around in under 30 minutes to any spot of the island.

    It is a small peaceful town with lots of shops you find in big cities. The food is cheap. The Pasar Tani was interesting. It is situated behind Restoran Berkat. This restaurant consists of a few stalls serving local delicacies. A must come for people not familiar with the local food. There is a more modern township called Amanjaya for the younger ones. But I prefer the area around the famous Clock Tower.

    The staff were lovely and very welcoming. The Thai Restaurant was amazing - getting to the Sky Cab was just walking distance, that's worth a visit. I did a Mangrove Tour which was pretty good... I went on my own but a group tour might have been just as good.

    A lot lot of flies at Kapitop food court, ordering drinks taking too long. So many flies on the table while you are eating. Drink counter filled with flies. Fly sticky mat have more than 50 flies on it. Yuks..

    Great beach, not to many people, good to watch the sunset. But lots of it is privat and your only allowed to walk along the shore in these parts, which is kinda sad and stupid as you wouldnt disturb anyone by staying there. but the public places are great too so not too much of a let down.

    Small town, not suitable for shoppers. Recommended for those who enjoying eating. Recommended place is Dusun Riffa which can spend time from 9 am - 7 pm with good scenery, clean place and very good food. Also recommended KinKin Restaurant which is cheap but tasty. A few more good foods but can find other places as well. Bundle shops - there are a lot of good stuff to shop with good quality.

    Most happening area of Langkawi.

    Most happening area of Langkawi. Only beach with sports activities like parasailing, water scooter, boats, kyaking etc. Lots of cafes around and and a big flee market with multiple duty free shops nearby. Above all underwater world is also at 2 mins of drive from pantai cenang beach. Above all vegitarian indian food is also available in few restaurants of pantai cenang market.
