- From $172.43 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.4Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 745 reviewsWe recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful property, and it exceeded all my expectations. The location is perfect—nestled in a peaceful area yet conveniently close to local attractions, restaurants, and shops. Whether you’re looking to explore or just enjoy some downtime, it’s an ideal spot. The accommodation itself is immaculate. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the attention to detail was evident in every corner. It’s well-equipped with all the amenities you could need, from a fully functional kitchen to cozy furnishings, making it feel like a home away from home. The atmosphere is tranquil, perfect for unwinding after a busy day or for a fully relaxing getaway. What truly made the stay special was the host. Their warm, welcoming nature and attentiveness ensured that everything ran smoothly. They were always available to answer questions or provide recommendations but respected our privacy, striking the perfect balance. I would highly recommend this property to anyone seeking a serene, comfortable, and well-maintained place to stay. It’s clear that every effort has been made to create a space where guests can truly relax and feel cared for.Guest review byMonikaUnited Arab Emirates
- From $132.64 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very Good - What previous guests thought, 812 reviewsIt is gorgeous!! Our room felt like a log cabin in the mountains. Huge windows, a heater, comfortable beds, walking trails right outside, and just FUN vibes. It feels like a big, happy family. My son loved the playground and trampoline. We loved walking the trail to Lake Rotoiti, seeing eels in the creek on the property, and visiting with other guests at the restaurant. Laundry facilities were an added bonus. It’s a cozy, fun place and the hosts are lovely people!Guest review byStephenUnited States
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 88 reviewsThis may have been the most beautiful place we've ever stayed. The huge windows facing the water...allowing you to see the beauty from the bedroom, living room, dining room/kitchen were fabulous. The commitment to recycling was great. The outdoor tub....looking over the hills and water (with a glass of wine in hand)...was a piece of heaven.Guest review byKimberleyUnited States

Nelson has a lot of speciality stores and a lot of food...
Nelson has a lot of speciality stores and a lot of food options. The Markets in the weekends are not for those looking for a bargain but do support local and NZ made and although some were costly, there was a lot of selection of goodies. Stoke the Bach Restaurant was staffed with lovely young girls, and the food was excellent and value for money The Arden Monaco where we stayed has limited room facilities and is not staffed outside of working hours, but the beds are comfortable and with very dark woodwork old paintings and very heavy doors, the facility was well equipped with heat pumps and hot water.Guest review byKimNew Zealand - 10.0

You go to Kaiteriteri for the awesome views, beach and water. There is good walking/hiking paths nearby. It was not overly crowded at the beginning of March but the water was still swimmable. Very close to Abel Tasman which is great.Guest review byBonnieUnited States - 10.0

We arrived in Marahau in order to walk on the Abel Tasman...
We arrived in Marahau in order to walk on the Abel Tasman track. It is a small township, and we enjoyed walking down to the bay for the sunset. We had chosen the Aqua taxi to transport us up to the start of our walk, and enjoyed the efficiency and novelty of that experience. Just a warning to other travellers, By mid May, the little township is settling in for the ‘off’ season, which means that there are fewer grocery and eating options. We had been forewarned and had collected groceries at Motueka.Guest review bySneddleAustralia - 10.0
St arnaud is the starting point for discovering the delights...
St arnaud is the starting point for discovering the delights of Nelson Lakes National Park. The town and the surroundings are extremely picturesque and the walks in the national park remain some of my favourites in the South Island. Beautiful beech forests. Also very nearby are dedicated mountain bike trails that are great fun.Guest review byFrankieNew Zealand - 10.0

We love this beach - especially in winter! It is also very close to some special places - Tata and Ligar Beaches, the Wainui Falls, the Grove Reserve and more - always something new to discover. Molly Bs is to be reccommended…and the cafes of Takaka are not far away.Guest review byPeterNew Zealand
