I had meetings at Ljubljana Airport and this is the best place to stay that is very close to the airport. It is a small hotel with an excellent restaurant! The facilities are very clean and well maintained! The rooms are ok. I got a room with two small bedrooms (2 single + 1 single bed) which is the only minus for someone that is used to a big bed. The surroundings are extremely quiet and there is nothing around the hotel but family houses. The only noise is the small river passing just next to the hotel and the church bell which is ringing at 7am... ;)
Unbelievable location with incredible views (we had a deluxe studio apartment) of the Lake.
Fantastic breakfast and helpful staff. The owner even made us up breakfast and lunch to take away with us as we were leaving early on our last morning.
Slovenia is the most beautiful place we have ever visited.
Short walk to the lake for boat hire and swimming. Local restaurants and shops provided everything we needed.
The appartment was very spacious for a family of 4 and an adult labrador retriever. The kitchen had everything we needed, even a toaster and a microwave. The location of the appartment is perfect as it's practically in the centre. We welcomed the free entry to the swimming pool and went every day. Swim after bike trips and hiking was very relaxing.

Breakfast is located off site at a 5 Star hotel in Lake Bled. A amazing elegant breakfast amidst a Jungle decorated theme. Definitely worth it!!
The restaurant venue is really beautiful, with the water and plants inside, the wooden construction and lots of natural light. The food and stuff were amazing, I want to come back with my family:)
Stunning property, very nature forward. Quiet and cozy. Great food, kind staff. Safe with great location. Incredible amenities including a bike rental shop on site. Highly recommend.

We have visited Bled on several occasions and love the lake, the Vintgarde and of course the vanilla cream slices. We have previously stayed at a large hotel very close to the lake and paid alot more money than at this hotel but I can honestly say that your hotel was far, far superior. We loved it.

Scenery in and around Kranjska Gora is stunning. Clean, safe, good bus service to Ljubljana, and lots of cafes and restaurants. Lake Jasna is particularly beautiful. Plenty of places to hire bikes, with beautiful bike trails .

We stayed in Bled for a couple of days before moving to Lake Bohinj, on reflection, we preferred Lake Bohinj to Bled, it was less busy, quieter, and if we wanted was in each reach of Bled for a visit. If we went back again we would stay in Bohinj as a base and move around from there.

Small town with a lot of historical buildings to see and stories to hear, also the tunnels built in the 2nd world war. There is beautiful nature in (rivers Kokra and Sava) and around it that you can visit.
I was there two years in a row in September and each time we had a shorter option of a guided tour. Only the tunnels were the same, other parts of tour were totally different - in a small city!

Lesce is a local residential village so nothing special is really happening there. It is quite small and very quiet with supermarkets in the vicinities.
The best thing about Lesce is it central location to all the major areas around Lake Bled.

Great scenery and nature. Public transport could be improved. Had amazing pizza at a cozy little ski lodge/cottage next to the Bedanc ski resort in Podkoren, it's called "Bife Velika Dolina".

Skofija Loka is a stunning medieval town surrounded by beautiful hills, forests and farmland. The castle perched above the town hosts the town museum and is well worth a visit. The old town features lots of beautiful buildings and small squares with cafes and shops.
We ate out twice, once in a Balkan food specialist called Das ist Walter and once in a restaurant near Stara Loka called Inglic. Both were excellent and good value for money. The cafe bar Homen in the centre was also very good for cakes and coffee with exceptional, friendly staff.
We also enjoyed two long hikes in the surrounding hills. One to Osolnik and one to Planica via Crngrob where there is a stunning church with frescos and impressive alter.

Bled is an amazing place.
Bled is an amazing place. A few days are not enough to see everything. It is worth walking around the lake, visiting the island and the castle. We also went hiking to Vintgar Gorge and Mount Vogel. Very beautiful places and you can also do easy, medium, or difficult hikes. Slovenians really take care of the nature and give all opportunities to discover it. We would like to return for sure.
