Bangkok is a massive city that is almost too big and overwhelming. (I'm a native New Yorker). There are a couple of great landmarks and tourist spots worth seeing once. (Grand Palace and Wat Pho). Some are worth a second visit. (Wat Arun). Taking the ferry up and down the Chao Phraya river is fun. Chinatown is cool and has great food. There are killer cocktail bars all over the city but a few on one block near Chinatown. Two days is enough. If your planning a trip to Thailand it worth seeing but not worth basing a vacation around. However, the cocktail bars themselves are enough to get me to come back when I return to Thailand.Guest review byTaylorUnited States - 8.0

I had lived in Bangkok for > 10 years, and chose Bangna due to it's easy connection to the airport, good facilities and transport links to the city centre. This stay was at the end of a 3 week road trip covering 3000km. Next time I would plan to stay a few more days in Bangna.Guest review byPeterUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Wat Don Muan is a nice temple. Beautiful and peaceful.
Wat Don Muan is a nice temple. Beautiful and peaceful. There is a local market near the temple. Interesting to watch around and taste local foods and fruits. People in the market who are selling foods are friendly and kind. Good to observe local people's life even while transit time of the flight.Guest review byY.O.TJapan - 6.0

I stayed near the Victory monument , area which is like a hub for public transportation so it was very easy to get around for cheap. There s a nice little park nearby the hotel to get away from all the traffic and relax or do some jogging. Not many big shopping centers , around the victory monument the bigest one was the One center which has a few decent restaurants on the 3 rd floor. The hotels are cheaper around this area and you can go anywahere with bts or bus or grab/ bolt or motorbike taxis etcGuest review byMustafaTurkey - 2.0

not recommended to book in this hotel. much under expectation and less standard than the rate and photos in booking. all was bad. Especially the hotel charged me with extra night for the checked out day and withdraw from my bank visa without justification, or mentioning this in the policy of the hotel. when I copmlained to hotel and booking, my money never return back to my bank account for one extra night though the booking.com followed them and they lied saying we transferred the money to my bank account after booking complain without transferring the money for the checked out night they took, or providing providing bank statement of the transfer. I am still trying to get my ony back hopeless since they do not answer my messages sent to the hotel through booing and booking is not replying back to me, no valid number I can contact, or message after several trials. both the hotel and booking does not reply, or have easy access for communication to return the money back and send supporting document of the the transfer. BAD SERVICES FROM BOTH HOTEL AND BOOKING.COM who ignored my request after following it up with the hotel at the beginings and promised the money with be transferred back to my account that had been withdrawn from it the check out night as per their complain and communication with the hotel.Guest review byMAHASaudi Arabia - 8.0

The hotel was extremely hard to find even though I was within 20 metres. The rooms just sit quietly above a dim sum restaurant. Very little signage on the street and no direct direction on booking.com Friendly staff once discovered though. Even my taxi driver couldn't get directions from a shop close by. Needs clarification on web site of location above Dim sum restaurant.Guest review byBailey - 10.0
Everything is great.
Everything is great. The bathroom is clean, the beds are comfortable, the staff are approachable, they have free coffee, and I think you can use their refrigerator for free, but I wasn't able to use it.Guest review byJenice Marie PalmaPhilippines - 10.0

The location was centralized for the areas I wanted to go and visit. It’s important to keep in mind where you want to eat and where you want to go and see the ancient cities were all around. It was perfect. The location had a beautiful view and the room was excellent.Guest review byPiyathidaThailand - 8.0

Very busy city, great to see for a few days, but becomes a bit much after a while, plenty of things to see and do from multiple temples to cabaret shows. Muay Thai or what ever else you like. Get the ferry's down the river, a good way to travel, and see the sights (yellow or orange flags are cheaper, as they are used by the locals and more fun) public train system or motor bike are the best way to travel around the city and cheaper and quicker. The traffic between 4pm and 8pm every night is terrible and can take 1hr or more in a taxi or Tuk Tuk to travel 5 to 6KS across the city, after these hrs the time is halved. Food is excellent there plenty of Indian and Asian delicacies at the restaurants, street food at the markets (tasty, cheaper) try the Mango rice for desserts. Find a 7 eleven that sells pre packed toasted sandwiches and other re-heatable foods, and they will heat up for you at no extra cost, handy when you just want a quick meal, they do good iced coffee as well. The locals were very friendly and don't hassle you to much, if you say No a few times they just smile and go away, do barter with the street stalls and Tuk Tuk they will expect it so generally give you a high price first.Guest review bySimonAustralia
