Beyond the amazing accommodation and dining experience, Mark and Tee went above and beyond to help us arrange trips to the stunning islands around Ao Nang. Their local knowledge and willingness to assist made our exploration so much smoother and more enjoyable. What truly made our stay unforgettable was their warm hospitality. They welcomed us into their New Year’s Eve celebration like we were part of their family, creating memories we’ll cherish forever. The location away from the loud main street yet very close to it. It was always a pleasure to come back to the hotel. The swimming pool is great and with a unique backdrop: the cliff! The staff and the guesthouse's services made our stay memorable and our trip easier! From moto rental to breakfast, laundry service, shuttles and advice on moving around. Perfect place right in front of the beach. The woman who works there it’s so nice and help us to find a taxi because it was raining so much. she took care of our luggage after the check out for all day. I’ll definitely stay again!

    If you want the beach and trips from the beach to the...

    If you want the beach and trips from the beach to the islands do not recommend you go this time of the year. As three single travellers there were very few bars, lots of restaurants that sold alcohol but no bars you could sit at and have a chat only found four and three of those were a good 30min walk from the centre. Ao Nang seems to have changed a lot over the years and has lost a lot of it's character as it is now catering more for families, which is not a all bad if that is what you are looking for but comparing it with Hua Hin, or Koh Samui, it just doesn't.

    It is useful to note that there are multiple long boats and piers to access Railay. The safest route is to the east beach from Ao Nammao pier where you can safely park a hire car for a reasonable cost. If you don’t have your own transport, there are various options such as taxis. I ripped a pair of shorts at another pier which is not a great setup.

    Visited in low season weather wasn’t great but that is to be expected. Beaches not good for swimming and littered with rubbish. The vast majority of restaurants and resorts were closed. This island has a very different vibe in the busy season.

    It's a pretty rustic, typical old Thai town, the locals are lovely, peaceful people Krabi Airport :-Be sure to have some baht notes if you're taking a driver or taxi to your hotel- there are ATMs at Krabi airport but easier if you have cash The Friday & Saturday food markets are great for Thai foods of all sorts Take a long boat ride from along the riverside - a couple of hours touring the river and surrounds for 50 - 100 AUD Riverside Restaurant and Bar us a good place for dinner Blu Monkey is great little hotel

    It was a great time - I was there for the Oceanman event so there were a lot of people around for the time and I enjoyed the atmosphere. It was jellyfish season, so it was not the best time for swimming in the ocean. But it was still a beautiful area.

    I’m completely biased.

    I’m completely biased. I loved everything and everyone involved in the place. No favourite thing. Many favourite things. Jungle, sea, boats cars tuk tuk and all. Most importantly I had the best guided tours on offer. Thank you. One and all. Appreciated and greatful ❤️

    A quiet area, quite remote with no shops (that I saw) but this added to the tranquility of the area. About 50 minutes from the airport, but worth the trip. We could have eaten at other hotels but were happy with the choices at our resort.

    Great location only accessible by boat, no power during day 10am-5pm You rely on long tail boats for day trips over to Railay, Ao Nang and islands trip Loved some of the food there especially Nuri was the best, Ton Sai Sao and the Burger King Kong (breakfasts) were good

    All restaurants and activities were near by or a short ride with a scooter. KoDam restaurant serves great Thai dishes and the same restaurant by the sea has a great view with the same prices as the one in Ao Nang.
