We took a one time trip to Atlanta to take in a Braves game and experience the attractions. Most areas of Atlanta seemed safe and we had a good time although we were out of our element in a big city setting it was okay for a few days.Guest review byAbrahamson - 10.0
We go to Savannah at least 4 times a year.
We go to Savannah at least 4 times a year. We have stayed in almost all of the B&Bs in the historic district as well as many of the hotels and even some 2 and 3 bedroom VRBO offerings. Once we get to Savannah the idea is to park the car and not get back in a vehicle until the day we leave. This is a great walking town and we always have felt safe wandering around the squares, going in and out of stores and eating establishments, and enjoying some of the nightlife. River Street and Bay street shops are a bit touristy but still are a lot of fun. Avoid chain restaurants (not many of those anyway) and go to great places like Fiddlers and Pirate House for seafood, Vics on the River and Bella Napoli for fine dining, and Treylor Park (Bay St), Seafood Shack or Common on Broughton for great lunch options. Don't forget Lulu's Chocolate Bar for desserts and yummy martinis. If you get tired walking, a PediCab is a great way to get around.Guest review byDianeUnited States - 8.0

Augusta is fairly provincial, but as with every other southern city, you can entertain yourself driving around and looking at nice houses. Prices are generally quite reasonable, and people are friendly.Guest review byPaulUnited States - 6.0

Highlights of our trip was the Springer Opera House and the Infantry Museum. The show was well-casted and professionally performed. The museum was very moving and educational. The displays were some of the best I’ve seen. There’s quite a variety of shopping and restaurants on exit 10. We stayed at the courtyard by the airport and it was a good location to go north or south for any of our events this weekend. You don’t need a lot of time in Columbus; a weekend will do. Check for events online before going and plan ahead.Guest review bystacyUnited States - 10.0

Absolutely love Duluth, if you’re a fan of asian cuisine and culture you’ll love it. J’s mini hot pot is to die for and good price per person. tesco and hmart have amazing prices and items for basically anything you can think of. Check out all the little shopping centers even if you don’t understand the signs!!! there’s hidden treasures everywhere.Guest review byAvaUnited States - 4.0

Air did not work at first and l was already frustrated because they told me l did not have a reservation and l had my confirmation from booking on my phone. I had to pay at the hotel for another room because l was too tired to drive anymore. Plus l paid a higher rate...so l will never this chain again. They are a rip off. The clerk told me they had been having trouble with booking.com l think it was all a scamGuest review byJohnson - 8.0

I like the hotel because of the location it was close to a Walmart it was close to the restaurant Pappadeaux's which I like very much everything was convenient gas station was right next door to fill up it was a short trip but it still was satisfactory but still need some improvements especially with the breakfast menu in the morning at the hotel.I was in Room 217 and you can see from the photos there needs to be some repair made over the shower in the bathroom and also alongside that doorway on long side of the tub.I would like someone from the hotel Corporate Office who sees this review to give me a call to discuss and further detailGuest review byAnonymous - 8.0

If you have kids or are adventurous, river tubing is available. We had lunch watching people mosey down the water. There are so many shops that can be explored, specialty fudge, cheeses, toys, blown glass, and on and on. There is minerature golf course, and camping areas too. Many places are pet friendly as well. It has a German based theme, and from what we heard, Ocktoberfest is a sell out for accommodations.Guest review byAnonymousUnited States - 8.0

Quaint little town rather than a city. After a month of moving here from upstate New York I am looking forward to driving around taking in all of the sights and sounds Valdosta and its surrounding towns have to offer. Great location, only 15 min from Florida border.Guest review byMichaelUnited States - 10.0

Tybee Island is a treasure and I almost hate to tell people to visit because a big part of its charm is the unspoiled beauty of the dunes. More popularity means more development and that is good/bad.Guest review byHare
