San Diego has many areas of interest - being aware of the traffic patterns is key. When we traveled outside of rush hour, it was a breeze on the highway. We went to Lara's Labyrinth twice for the Da Vinci and Sheepshank Redemption escape rooms- highly recommend.Guest review byArleneUnited States - 6.0
I live in the region. Carlsbad the city was not the issue.
I live in the region. Carlsbad the city was not the issue. It was Studio 6 that was disappointing. The advertisement on booking.com for this facility is inaccurate, downright wrong. When was the last time anyone from booking.com actually visited the property?Booking.com reputation is based on reviews from customers that use your services. Please, I implore you to have someone visit this property. This property is not a good representation of the city and of booking.com.Guest review byEvelynUnited States - 8.0
The breakfast was not up to my standards.
The breakfast was not up to my standards. The eggs tasted like water, no bacon just sausages. I only ate breakfast there my first morning, the other 3 I went somewhere else. The hotel charged my credit card the amount I paid at Booking.com.Guest review byDaleUnited States - 10.0

Oceanside is a growing city along the ocean with many restaurants etc. It's very walkable if you are in the downtown area. There is plenty to do but if it's not your vibe, there are many nearby places to entertain yourself. Close to ocean, mountains, desert, casinos, Legoland, Disneyland, and San Diego places such as zoo, Balboa Park, or Seaworld. Lots of hiking opportunities and parks!Guest review byBeccaUnited States - 10.0
The staff were all very friendly and courteous.
The staff were all very friendly and courteous. The two main golf courses were open and great to play, but I was lucky as the Willow Glen course is still undergoing renovations. When those are completed it will be even more impressive. The greens played fast and true and were generally in great condition. The Oak Glen course is flatter and in excellent condition though also has some ongoing improvements happening. The Restaurant and Bar Staff were friendly and engaging, the Pro Golf Shop staff equally so. The food was very good with a variety of choice. In all it was a great experience to play golf there and soak up the ambience while taking in the history of the indigenous people in the area. I thoroughly recommend Singing Hill Golf Resort.Guest review byPhilip MarkAustralia - 2.0

I should’ve just spent 50 more to go to a better motel if I knew they were gonna rob me of 150, charged my card extra.STAY AWAY! it was dirty and unsafe, the employee Orlando and the young boys at night are rude and shady watch out!!!! Not a family friendly spot! And the roads leading up to the motel is killer on tires FYI. Spend a little more on somewhere better so you don’t get ROBBED A lot more.Guest review byAkaylaUnited States - 2.0
I would not recommend staying at this place.
I would not recommend staying at this place. It has a very cheap, outdated, run down feel to it. Even the soap and shampoo are cheap. The bedding was inadequate as the blanket and comforter were so thin that I was cold all night and did not sleep well. My room had a peculiar smell to it and even though the facility is supposed to be non-smoking, people were apparently disregarding the rules because I could smell cigarette smoke everywhere and there were even cigarette butts on the upstairs walkway in front of one of the rooms. My room did not match the photos as it was dark and dingy and had no carpeting. This was a very disappointing experience and the price was way too high given the state of things so the value is not there. There was no mention of continental breakfast nor did I see where it could be so I'm not sure they offer it even though it is advertised.Guest review byduncanUnited States - 10.0
Vista, CA is becoming an interesting place to visit.
Vista, CA is becoming an interesting place to visit. We have family in the area and always find new places to enjoy together. An amazing guitar player is at Bleching Beaver on Wed evening 6 to 8pm. The outside area is a place to relax with family and friends. Sunday evenings there is country and western dancing at a place on Main Street. Smitty's offers Karaoke many nights of the week-it has been a staple in Vista for 22 years. Best Time Pizza is another great meeting place. Handel's ice cream also has a line that moves fast. We enjoy exploring Vista and keep finding new places.Guest review by2025 tripUnited States - 10.0

Our third family trip to Encinitas, a charming beach town, was a delightful experience. Its quiet and walkable streets made it an ideal destination for a family vacation. We cycled along Neptun Avenue and relaxed on the beach near the Stone Steps. The town boasts a variety of great restaurants and coffee shops. We highly recommend Atelier-Mannana and Leu Leu, but be sure to book in advance! Herb and Sea is another must-try.Guest review byOfeliaUnited States - 6.0

I am not familiar with national city but it's super close to TJ the Mexican border. If you don't want to stay in Mexico it is a very short drive and very convenient. It is also very convenient to drive from national city to the heart of San Diego.Guest review byc_gomez6United States
