First of the 1930 building, I love that stuff. I liked the location mainly due to a very close parking garage.just 2 min walk. The pool is good size ( finally) but it can be full with kids. Afternoon 3 free drinks and food is also great. Good variety american breakfast The staff is great

    The unit was clean & spacious. The hosts were exceptional in making us feel comfortable. We had a balcony which looked out over the park & the marina. The location was right in the center of everything, including restaurants. They rent golf carts too & guests get a discount. We got the impression that it is under new management. When I called with questions or went to the desk, staff were always pleasant & helpful. The hotel is located next to a restaurant/bar but there are quiet hours. The rooms are private entrance & the upper floor requires a key card. Despite just opening for the season, our room was ready. -We actually forgot check-in time but our room happened to be ready early.

    I loved the units accomodations, the staff and the location. Beds are comfortable and plentiful, linens are soft with the added bonus of a washer and dryer if you like to know they are clean. The view from all of the balconies is relaxing however you are in a multi unit facility on south bass Island so you neighbors may be a be spirited 😉.

    Went to Rock and roll hall of fame it was nice and a very short drive to our room. Wanted to attend a baseball game but our room was to nice to leave. We wanted to take advantage of the nice location we were at. We were only able to fit so much in we do feel we would like to return.

    I would not go out anywhere in the downtown area after dark. I just didn't feel safe, even just sitting at a stoplight. I did stay in the downtown area and will NOT stay there again! The house we stayed in was excellent, but the area was not suitable for a family to stay.

    Less than a one hour drive to the Ark Encounter, Creation...

    Less than a one hour drive to the Ark Encounter, Creation Museum, and downtown Cincinnati. There was alot of traffic however. We enjoyed eating the famous Cincinnati chili at Skyline Chili and Lucious Q. We also enjoyed walking along the Ohio River and the historic Roebling bridge.

    We explored Dayton.

    We explored Dayton. To our dismay the Audubon Sculpture Garden was closed (Mondays), as were many tourist sites. The historic district west of downtown is in horrible condition which saddens us. We will return on a another trip. I think the city has a lot to offer.

    Port Clinton is the kind of Lake Town you are hoping for...

    Port Clinton is the kind of Lake Town you are hoping for with a young family. The atmosphere was relaxed, and people were friendly. There is a great playground for the kids near City Beach and plenty of restaurants to choose from. City layout isn't very complicated and most if not everything to do in the town is always just 5-10 minutes from everything else. Lake Erie is a great body of water and pretty clean to boot. We went the weekend before Labor Day and there were a couple of nights where live music was being played during a pub-crawl sort of deal. Things weren't too rowdy, and we never felt unsafe walking about.

    Dublin is a lovely suburb of Columbus.

    Dublin is a lovely suburb of Columbus. We enjoyed walking around the Old Dublin area, and ate an excellent Italian restaurant called Mezzo. In addition to their regular menu, Mezzo offers an entire vegan menu! Our favorite spot is the short hiking trail that leads to Indian Run Falls. It's steps away from downtown.

    This place is a disgrace! Bed bugs in the bed around 2am! Dead roaches outside! Room was dirty their was hair on one of the beds! Stay away at all cost no matter the price! Looks like it's people living there and they all outside smoking weed and arguing all night! Only thing good is it's in a nice area so this really was a surprise for this to be there! It needs to be shut down! Pay a little more and stay somewhere else!
