Hotel in New Shoreham
Located in New Shoreham, a 18-minute walk from Ferd Benson Town Beach, Old Town Inn has accommodations with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. This was our second time staying at the Inn. Neal and Mike are amazing hosts. The environment is very welcoming , warm and homey. Home hooked breakfast every morning. The rooms are big, well furnished, comfortable beds and toiletries available. The common space is great place where guests get together to chat, watch TV in front of a cozy fireplace. The outdoor area is huge with plenty of patio furniture hammocks and fire pits. About a 20 minute walk into town. I love this place and will stay again at my next visit.
Hotel in Cliff Walk, Newport
Located in Newport, a 5-minute walk from Easton's Beach, The Cliffside Inn provides accommodations with a garden, free private parking and a terrace. The location is great. As the name of the property suggests, you are very close to the Cliffside Pathway which fronts the Atlantic Ocean and backs on to many of the grand mansions in Newport. The hotel is a beautiful building and it sets the scene for the “Gilded Age” charm of Newport. The rooms are decorated with a very stylish eclectic modern and period style. It was much to our liking. We loved the gourmet breakfasts, complimentary wine and nibbles in the early evening and the complimentary snacks available in the entry hall. We met some lovely guests at breakfast and in the evening. Our room was big enough and the bathroom was too.

One block from Newport, Rhode Island's vibrant Thames Street and the waterfront, this renovated, 19th century mill offers suites with historic appeal and contemporary amenities. Smooth checkin, detailed explanation of process, lucky enough to get a room upgrade (which I acknowledge is not a given, but great they offer it if available), the in room breakfast was great and nicely packaged (and timely, delivered at the time I requested) and the rooms a super clean, fresh and tidy. What more could you ask for?

Coventry is centralized to what ever activity you are doing for the most part in Rhode Island without the Providence or Warwick prices. So a little 15 minute down the road hotel vs having to drive and stay in the cities was well worth it.
Stayed in South Kingstown on A trip to visit University of Rhode Island with my daughter. Really not too much to see in south Kingstown. Point Judith very close to take ferry to Block Island. Also close to Naragansett and the beaches. The Wal-Mart wasn't that great but had what we needed. A lot of the food establishments were closed or closed early. Also found out that people don't drive that well in this town almost got into numerous accidents because people don't drive well.
Warwick has a large population but not a particularly alluring downtown. However, it was a good place to stay because there is very easy access to Providence via the highway. Warwick is a great pit stop for someone who is traveling through Rhode Island and wants to be able to make day or night trips to Providence while avoiding the high costs of lodging in the city. Staying in Warwick makes it easy to see the southern coastal towns or Newport and other places on the islands all within a leisurely day trip. New Haven, Hartford, and Boston are all also within an easy drive from this location.
Warwick to me is in a very good position in Rhode Island! Being very close to the Highway (I-95) is a big plus! Also, finding Walt's Roast Beef really made my stay enjoyable! By far,the best sandwiches that I've had since I've been coming to Rhode Island, which has been over 25 years!
There are plenty of restaurants where you can easily travel to or even have delivery right to your door! My friend and I went to go to the beach, which was really nice with such a beautiful view. Legal Seafood was great! For adults who like seafood and good alcohol, I would recommend it but it is pricey (especially for the lobster). However the wait staff was so nice and friendly! The Olive Garden that is 15 minutes away from the hotel was okay. I love Olive garden but the pasta I got was dry and barely had cheese on it. Getting Around Warwick was easy (and I say this as a person who isn't even from Rhode Island). I'm from Vermont where I am used to only two lanes of traffic and I was surprised I was able to get around so easily. I would recommend getting a GPS though. I wish I could have seen what tourists could do around Warwick but I didn't have the pleasure to stay.
Newport Rhode Island is a beautiful city I was there working for two weeks for the Newport folk Festival and Newport Jazz Festival both festivals amazing you must come I was a craft person everybody was friendly and supportive
Good food around. Close to Rhode Islands only natural history museum, which was way worth the 2$. Also not far from H.P. Lovecraft's grave, which we visited in the most beautiful cemetery I have ever seen.
In October the main thing to do in the Middletown and Newport area was to look at mansions. Personally I liked the Bar Harbor area of Maine better than the Newport area of Rhode Island.
Love this area in southern Rhode Island, great beaches and good food. After many years I still enjoy watching the Ferry coming into the Harbor at Galilee. Plenty of shore line to walk.
Providence remains a very under-rated and under-stated destination. It’s a hip, cosmopolitan, and unpretentious small city with gorgeous architecture that is compact and accessible—easily walkable or with inexpensive cabs or car service—offering visitors a wide range of affordable activities, from excellent dining (be sure to try Al Forno, a nationally-rated Italian eatery that’s among the best in the region) to great shopping and thriving nightlife (there are at least six LGBT hotspots in the downtown area alone, not to mention the dozens of other bars and nightclubs catering to every sensibility). It is a welcoming and diverse city with a slightly higher tolerance for naughtiness than many other New England locales, which gives it a fun edge, while still offering visitors a wealth of colonial history that makes New England special. With several highly regarded colleges and universities (including Brown University and the Rhode Island School of Design), there’s a strong youth and arts influence that keeps Providence from becoming boring or predictable.
Location was superb, right in downtown Providence, and within easy walking distance of the charming Brown campus and historic Benefit Street, and a short jaunt to the Rhode Island State House and Waterplace Park. The room we reserved was huge and very comfortable and clean. The included breakfast was average, but there were tons of options, including some hot items like oatmeal, potatoes, and eggs.
My Mom and I liked how it was easy access to the highway so that we can visit more of Rhode Island. It was fun how we got to see historic monuments and parks that were near our hotel. The rooms were very clean, and accessible from the 2nd floor!
Staff James and Grace are fantastic and I always tip very kind house keepers. Girlfriend says only hotel in Rhode island with decent coffee (bolt coffee 💯) Beds are so comfortable, decor Ash NY and location perfecto!!
I spent 10 amazing days at your establishment and I Loved everything about this hotel, I would recommend you guys to family an friends when looking to get away to Rhode Island.
It’s across the street from the main depot for the entire State of Rhode Island, making the hotel a convenient hub for a transit-based tour.
The location was amazing. It was my first time visiting Rhode Island and the hotel was close to every place I visited.
Newport
The apartment was great! The staff was amazing! Everything you could ask for in Rhode Island was just a walk away!
Roomy and comfortable rooms, updated facility, close proximity to Newport and most Rhode Island’s attractions.
Great hotel and staff!!!! This was our second stay at the property within the past six months. It was equally as amazing as the first! We will definitely be returning in the summer!
It's clean, nice staff, restaurant on site, right near malls and close to my family.
location Friendly staff who did an exceptional job of accommodating us when the ferry service was interrupted for days because of inclement weather
The Chandler was exceptional in every aspect. The staff was welcoming and made us feel important. We were treated like royalty. The room, services and meals were outstanding. We couldn't be happier with our stay.
Their true representation of customer service that is so sadly missed these days in many arenas…it is truly nice to feel valued as a repeat customer.
We liked having such a delicious breakfast there enjoying the view and the beautiful weather.
The staff were warm and welcoming. In all instances, the staff were accommodating. Lydie was especially engaging.
Convenient and right on the beach
location and room. everything was close by and family friendly
Cleanest place we've stayed at in quite a while with a VERY comfortable king size bed. ALL of the staff were great in every way. They even provided me with a parking area for my larger pickup, out of the way of other people yet still safe. We'll go there again, no problem.
The accessibility to casino it was extremely clean and private and quiet.
