Coventry is centralized to what ever activity you are doing for the most part in Rhode Island without the Providence or Warwick prices. So a little 15 minute down the road hotel vs having to drive and stay in the cities was well worth it.
Stayed in South Kingstown on A trip to visit University of Rhode Island with my daughter. Really not too much to see in south Kingstown. Point Judith very close to take ferry to Block Island. Also close to Naragansett and the beaches. The Wal-Mart wasn't that great but had what we needed. A lot of the food establishments were closed or closed early. Also found out that people don't drive that well in this town almost got into numerous accidents because people don't drive well.
Warwick has a large population but not a particularly alluring downtown. However, it was a good place to stay because there is very easy access to Providence via the highway. Warwick is a great pit stop for someone who is traveling through Rhode Island and wants to be able to make day or night trips to Providence while avoiding the high costs of lodging in the city. Staying in Warwick makes it easy to see the southern coastal towns or Newport and other places on the islands all within a leisurely day trip. New Haven, Hartford, and Boston are all also within an easy drive from this location.
Warwick to me is in a very good position in Rhode Island! Being very close to the Highway (I-95) is a big plus! Also, finding Walt's Roast Beef really made my stay enjoyable! By far,the best sandwiches that I've had since I've been coming to Rhode Island, which has been over 25 years!
There are plenty of restaurants where you can easily travel to or even have delivery right to your door! My friend and I went to go to the beach, which was really nice with such a beautiful view. Legal Seafood was great! For adults who like seafood and good alcohol, I would recommend it but it is pricey (especially for the lobster). However the wait staff was so nice and friendly! The Olive Garden that is 15 minutes away from the hotel was okay. I love Olive garden but the pasta I got was dry and barely had cheese on it. Getting Around Warwick was easy (and I say this as a person who isn't even from Rhode Island). I'm from Vermont where I am used to only two lanes of traffic and I was surprised I was able to get around so easily. I would recommend getting a GPS though. I wish I could have seen what tourists could do around Warwick but I didn't have the pleasure to stay.
Newport Rhode Island is a beautiful city I was there working for two weeks for the Newport folk Festival and Newport Jazz Festival both festivals amazing you must come I was a craft person everybody was friendly and supportive
Good food around. Close to Rhode Islands only natural history museum, which was way worth the 2$. Also not far from H.P. Lovecraft's grave, which we visited in the most beautiful cemetery I have ever seen.
In October the main thing to do in the Middletown and Newport area was to look at mansions. Personally I liked the Bar Harbor area of Maine better than the Newport area of Rhode Island.
Love this area in southern Rhode Island, great beaches and good food. After many years I still enjoy watching the Ferry coming into the Harbor at Galilee. Plenty of shore line to walk.
Providence remains a very under-rated and under-stated destination. It’s a hip, cosmopolitan, and unpretentious small city with gorgeous architecture that is compact and accessible—easily walkable or with inexpensive cabs or car service—offering visitors a wide range of affordable activities, from excellent dining (be sure to try Al Forno, a nationally-rated Italian eatery that’s among the best in the region) to great shopping and thriving nightlife (there are at least six LGBT hotspots in the downtown area alone, not to mention the dozens of other bars and nightclubs catering to every sensibility). It is a welcoming and diverse city with a slightly higher tolerance for naughtiness than many other New England locales, which gives it a fun edge, while still offering visitors a wealth of colonial history that makes New England special. With several highly regarded colleges and universities (including Brown University and the Rhode Island School of Design), there’s a strong youth and arts influence that keeps Providence from becoming boring or predictable.

I loved everything about this hotel. The decor inside and out made me feel like I was in the coolest hipster / trendy / boutique hotel. In a nutshell this hotel felt like the best kept secret. We went to the coffee bar behind the lobby. DELICIOUS coffee. Went to the restaurant next door AMAZING German food. Went to the cocktail bar in the back FABULOUS drinks! We came from New York with no expectations but to stay somewhere cozy. This place made me want to stay in Rhode Island longer. Staff, ambiance and décor were great !

Their was nuthing to like. My husband should b fully refunded n then some. I shoulda called police on the staff. They were partying all nite long in room next to ours. The entire staff shuld b fired. No blow dryer or refrigerator or shampoo or conditioner in a room I totally overpaid for. Also will never use triavago site ever again bt , that’s a entirely different complaint. Place was disgusting n I will never return to any motel 6 or Rhode Island ever again as a result.

The bed was incredibly comfortable, the staff was kind, personable and accommodating, the property was located near the airport, a good mall, eateries and had easy access to highways. The food at the restaurant was reasonably priced and tasty. The views on the river were lovely. My partner will definitely be staying here on our next visit to Rhode Island, and are looking into fitting NYLO's other locations in when visiting those cities.

The Providence Biltmore felt unique compared to your average hotel. It had a historical feel and seemed just a little more plush. Downstairs there are some plaques explaining some of the history of the hotel The location was very convenient as we were visiting the Rhode Island School of Design and were able to walk. We stayed in a Junior suite and found it very comfortable. I love having a sitting area and a sleeping area.

This hotel was stunning and decorated in such a beautiful way! It is located in a beautiful area of Providence with an incredible view of the Rhode Island Capitol building. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The staff was very friendly and even offered us an upgrade as we were celebrating our anniversary. They also refunded us a valet charge after discussing with them an issue that we had.

Very good location just next to I-95, one hour travel to Boston and Rhode Island, so I was visiting both the place, it is easy to drive from this hotel. Room is good, service desk people were so helpful. Complementary service is good, don't worry if you forget toothpaste or brush, they will provide. Morning breakfast is excellent.

The staff was very nice especially the front desk. We met Bridget she was very sweet and pleasant and informative (first time in Rhode Island) the room was very nice and cozy..the bed was lumpy but other than that we were very pleased. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and the pool in the facility.. we will plan to go again.. 😊

The question was what didn't we like. The bed,the layout, the shower. The hotel colors. The carpet design. The food was amazing! It was like a vacation within a vacation. Luxury Travel x Newport Rhode Island https://jeseniasgoodiebag.com/2017/07/25/luxury-travel-x-newport-rhode-island/ via

Upon arrival our room was not ready so she upgraded us. When I opened the door to the room I was amazed. She had given us a 2 room suite. I come to Rhode Island every 3 months to see my family and this is the first time I stayed at BW and I can assure you that I will be staying here every time I come. Staff were wonderful.

Easy to get to off of I95 as I was there for Rhode Island Comic Con. Complimentary breakfast a plus. Room I reserved wasn't available, but I was given an upgrade no questions asked. Fortunately I booked 9 months in advance due to demand for the hotel and its short distance from the Dunk.

We were delighted with the complimentary breakfast and the snacks available all day long. The staff were always friendly. The hotel was only a 15 minute walk to the Rhode Island convention Center. The cost was reasonable. We will return!

This is a great spot for a quick night's stay while adventuring around Rhode Island. It's convenient to beaches, nature trails, and scenic villages. We found the hotel quiet and clean.

The location and the room are absolutely prefect. The room is essentially an apartment with a spacious living room, dining area and a kitchenette. The design is coastal and comfortable with exposed beams and timber shutters. It's an easy walk to Thames St shops, cafes and bars and a few great restaurants are just across the street.
