Rhode Island

Rhode Island offers iconic seaside charm and historic waterfronts. The smallest U.S. state packs sandy beaches, Gilded Age mansions, and a lively food scene into easy-to-explore distances. Families enjoy safe shores and maritime museums. Solo travelers love coastal walks, creative arts, and relaxed harbor towns.

See Newport's Cliff Walk and Providence's WaterFire, two unmissable highlights. Take a boat across Narragansett Bay for swimming and sailing, an essential coastal experience. Stay in Newport for mansions and harbor life, Providence for dining and arts, and Narragansett for relaxed beaches and family-friendly stays.

This hotel has been recently renovated in excellent taste. The interior decoration has a neuvo nautical / resort vibe and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The beds are super comfortable, the bathroom is large, well - lit and sparkingling clean. The entire hotel is clean, well kept and has beautiful grounds including a pool, plenty of deck space, fire pits surrounded by outdoor sofas, cabana style outdoor beds, large lawns with lawn games and Adirondack chairs, hammocks, picnic tables and fire pits, all pristine and overlooking Narragansett Harbor with views of the Newport Bridge. The pool staff was accommodating, and they set up your chairs with towels and umbrellas if you prefer shade. The pool decks overlook the harbor, and there is a bar and snack shack with poolside service of drinks and small plates. The drinks and food were excellent. We also ate at the Torpedo lounge the second night of our stay. There was live music on the deck, and the food was amazing. The salads and homemade dressings were really excellent.

The rooms are very, very clean with updated appointments and amenities. The room size is efficient, however adequate. The grounds are meticulously maintained and very colorful, with a wide variety of blooming plants and shrubs. The owners live on site and are attentive to your needs. They are also very friendly! The available bagged ice and bottled water was very convenient and saved us trips to the store. Of course, the location is just perfect. I highly recommend this property.

First visit and everything was what we expected!!!! Had a great mother/daughter getaway! Started a tradition and can't wait to go back next summer!!! We arrived early, our room wasn't ready but the staff took our bags for us and would call when the room was ready. We were able to use all the facilities at the hotel, so we headed for the beach!

We were only there to catch a plane.
Warwick

We were only there to catch a plane. The airport is under renovation. It would have been helpful if TF Green could have provided more information about this (e.g., food services that were closed, lack of water fountains, and most importantly, charging outlets that were not powered up (only a few were). This is no reflection on the city of Providence, only the airport.

Narragansett

I love this area! Beautiful beaches, cliff walk views are amazing and the vibe is peaceful and relaxing. The Pt. Judith Lighthouse and park area has gorgeous panoramic views. We take the ferry over to Block Island for an incredible time. Coast Guard House is a must for dinner! Very nice family friendly area.

New Shoreham

Block Island/Shoreham is perfect for a 2 night stay. Take a tour of the island with one of the locals - many taxis will do this - its about $100 but worth it. Make sure to go over to the bay side to places like The Oar and Dead Eye Dicks for great food/bar away from the more crowded area near the ferry.

Smithfield

Smithfield suited our needs for this trip. There was ample retail to assist with some items we needed. Our business took us to a nearby town not allowing us much time to explore but the town looked interesting. We did notice that this area evidently is home to university/college students but that presented no problems whatsoever.

Woonsocket

Ok so Woonsocket probably isn’t what you’d call a tourist destination. That said when you are there the local folk are mostly friendly and there are one or two things to see. The absolute highlight is St Anne’s Church. Now a community project as the Catholic Church moved on it is maintained and operated by a community group. This is by its self reason to stop by in Woonsocket an absolute must see. Just remarkable. You just won’t believe your eyes and no I’m not very religious.
