She said that the staff were super friendly and indeed when we arrived, there were two champagne glasses and a bottle in the fridge. It’s just a beautiful place with an absolutely amazing spa.

The best US city to visit by far.
The best US city to visit by far. Clean ocean swept air with warm afternoons. Multiple Michelin Star restaurants along with mid to smaller size priced cafes. Wonderful shrubbery lined trails through the SF Park, Presidio grounds and Golden Gate rec areas. The De young and many others top notch museums to enjoy. Easy Buss, Cable Car and Waymo transportation choices through-out. I live 45 min. S. in Silicon Valley with the best weather in the world, plus no bugs. (if U can afford it)

We were double charged for the room.
We were double charged for the room. Did not state anywhere in my reservations that there was a 35.00 plus tax a day parking fee, such a scam for 3 miles away from the airport. Shuttle doesn’t run most of the day closed 930 am to 530 pm . We had a rental and we were pleased with it no connection to hotel . Manager on duty only refunded part of what they charged, and was billed 2 X for parking, better part of 75.00 bucks . No pool just the minimum amenities. Breakfast was descent.

The area of South San Francisco where the hotel is located...
The area of South San Francisco where the hotel is located is fine for taking lonely walks around what is essentially a business park, but there's not much to walk to. (There is a Starbucks and a few restaurants about 1/4 mi. to the north.) South San Francisco's downtown, which has a train station that takes you to the airport or downtown San Francisco francisco, contains restaurants open in the evening, is on the other side of the railroad tracks and a little hard to get to unless you're a jogger.

Quite a few homeless people, some of whom were mentally ill, were walking all around and lying on the sidewalks--even on Shattuck, one of the main streets, which was close to the hotel. Many of the downtown storefronts were empty. The contrast between poor and rich people was striking--and sad.

This is a GREAT location for those needing to arrive at the SFO airport on time. It was easy to park, and it had many restaurants in the area. Not the best for planning to sleep late, or if you are into hot breakfasts. The cleaning staff in the halls begins cleaning at 5am and they are not quiet about it. The "hot" breakfast was served cold.

City has highs and lows. Needs to cut costs for business development - like street parking. Needs a lot more litter, camp and graffiti cleanup. But some really good restaurants, good diverse population mix, tolerant, friendly.

Across from the hotel was a wonderful shopping area, great for food and shopping and just wondering around, the view was amazing we could see the full Bay with both bridges in view, I would recommend upgrading and getting a room on the top 3 floors bay side

We have lived there, so we know the ins and outs of this town. Be patient with traffic and bicycles and pedestrians. Expect somewhat higher prices as everything needs to brought in from somewhere else. There is no better place to have a family as the island is incredibly family oriented.

it was a quaint little spot with lots to explore and only fifteen minutes from Half moon bay. Our hotel was a block away from the Ocean on Rock way Beach.. I will definitely go back aǹd spend more time exploring
