It is located right across the highway from Coastal Carolina University. The CCU shuttle stopped there but not sure if that was for a visiting softball team. And it’s minutes away from lots of restaurants, Walmart, CVS, etc. also only a short right up Myrtle Beach and the airport. No restaurant at the hotel but the included breakfast in the morning had nice choices - bagels, muffins, cereal, fruit, yogurt, hot oatmeal and hot options like eggs, sausage, French toast, etc. Staff was wonderful and helpful. Would definitely stay again if visiting CCU

    This hotel was disgusting.

    This hotel was disgusting. There was a roach on my headboard and when I killed it and brought it to the front desk, they said, "a bug is a bug" and were extremely unprofessional regarding the issue, even suggesting that it was bout online and put in the room! The halls and pool were filthy. Once I changed rooms, with no assistance, the new room reeked of cigarette smoke. The pool was filthy, so much hair floating around. People were allowed to smoke everywhere on the property. I was in awe of the state of the hotel and how little the front desk manager cared. Not only will I never stay there again, I am going to report this to all agencies applicable.

    Charleston is a very historic place with lots of places to visit. I was impressed by the Angel Tree which is over 400 years old. They recently added a tree that was grown from the fallen acorn from the original tree;

    Greenville is a great city, safe, lot of sidewalk cafes and interesting shops. Good for a day or a week. We just wanted to get away for Labor Day weekend. Nightlife varies so have to do a little research, but there’s something for everyone, young to seniors. We are latter category, but found a nice place for dinner and dance.

    Restaurant signage on roads was nearly non-existent. NO parking near beaches. ( $3.00 per hour when you did find some ) paying a toll to get to the light house ( $9.36 ) with no parking once we got there was what I remember the most about HILTON HEAD. Not a real friendly community for travel, period.

    Rock Hill is a beautiful little city and an absolute gem just south of charlotte. Christmasville is an amazing Festival totally worth traveling for. The Town Square with a huge fountain reminds me of a Piazza in italy. Rock hill has so much to offer and so many little nooks to explore. Love Rock Hill

    We loved Hatcher Gardens, it was probably the highlight of our trip. The downtown area was a bit hard to navigate with a larger vehicle but there was a lot to see/do there as well. The staff at the Hub City Train Museum was phenomenal- knowledgeable and friendly. If you head our toward Roebuck there's a tiny diner in a strip mall (Grill 221) and the burgers are delicious (and huge)!
