Cute spot to stay the first night of our road trip. When we arrived I realized I booked for the wrong date. The owner went out of their way to see if they could accommodate us and they did! Motel is close to beautiful Lake Wenachee for a swim and picnic. Breakfast in the restaurant was delicious - good menu offerings. Rooms are clean and spacious. Overall a very nice stay!

The hotel is located close by car to Leavenworth, really good value for what it is... super clean, friendly staff, very quiet, nice pool, hot coffee in the morning, fridge in the room, and comfy beds. For a cheap stay in the area that is clean, comfy and cheap, this is the best. We didn't use the pool, but it looked great!

As soon as we arrived the staff at check-in were very friendly and helpful as far as parking after hours. Loved that the fact that the inn was a short walking distance to the lovely town of Leavenworth. The room was perfect and very clean with plenty of towels for the two day stay. We just felt like they cared and provided all our needs for a very comfortable stay. Very pleased with the staff, room and privacy during our wonderful stay.

The Fall Color Festival was more about getting people into...

The Fall Color Festival was more about getting people into town to patronize the existing businesses. There was some local art but less that expected. We enjoyed the local Masons breakfast in the park. The parade was fun.

If access to Stevens Pass is your goal,

If access to Stevens Pass is your goal, You can’t find accommodations closer! 15 minutes to the parking lot. The Cascadia Hotel in Skykomish is a great alternative with hostel type accommodations as well as some regular hotel rooms. The restaurant at the hotel is wonderful for breakfast and lunch!

We love Leavenworth!

We love Leavenworth! Very festive atmosphere with Bavarian musicians on outdoor stage, beautiful hymn songs coming from the church tower on a Sunday morning. Rows and rows of shops to explore. Road closed to traffic allowing long groups of attractive dining areas mid street. I enjoyed a greek salad with plenty of roasted sweet potatoes mixed along with feta cheese, kalamata olives and pickled red cabbage at Stein Brewing. It was so delicious, I had it two days in a row. Nice beer too! Fun dressed up horses and carriages everywhere giving rides. Just love Leavenworth!

Leavenworth was a quaint little town surrounded by beautiful mountains. The people were friendly, there were plenty of shops to explore, and the weather was typical of the Pacific Northwest. However, I would not stay at the Howard Johnson hotel!
