Beautiful hotel, very friendly staff (Iván at the Pool Bar takes exceptional care of guests), excellent location, very clean rooms and public areas. Simply perfect! I just love lying here on the roof next to the pool. The view is beautiful, the music is good, and the drinks and food are good. It's a great location to enjoy the sunset from here too. I just love being here. I'll definitely be back here next time I visit Cartagena.

Our stay at Bluebayou was wonderful, the hotel is simply amazing with a breathtaking view on the lagoon. The rooms are spacious and beautifully designed. The hotel disposes of kayaks to enjoy a nice ride in the lagoon, also bicycles and other chillout facilities such as hamaks. Very nice hostel in a top neighborhood, also really close to the historical center. Helpful and friendly staff, comfy beds with AC, clean bathrooms and the rooftop is a nice extra for sunny days. I ended up going back there another time.

My sincere sincere grattitude and thanks to the entire team. From reception to the extreme kind and service orianted ladies from the Housekeeping that even offered and helped me to wash my personal clothes. Also a very very special serious thanks to Ricardo from the Restaurant at the Rooftop that served me fresh brewed black coffee before 07:00 AM actual breakfast opening. Ricardo and his team cooked every single day the perfect steaks, iced frozen coconut lemonades, salads and more. He always checked in on me and ensured i am taken care off without an exception. I highley reccomend the food in this Hotel and just for the record i'm a Professional Chef that worked in 2x 1 star Michelin Restaurants in Switzerland and Amsterdam. Also and as usual a very special thanks to the people of Cartagena & Colombia. We could learn a lot about their culture. They're humble grounded as in, in balance with earth. They are extremely hospitable and make foreigners feel more than welcome. Thanks again and i promise to be back in person to say hi again as a sign of grattitude to the entire team.

I will truly recommend this hotel , because of great position in Cartagena. Room service ,ladies which were cleaning everyday , stuff in restaurants was so great, friendly and pleasant. Nice place with two pools outside, gym ,tennis court…. etc. Two restaurants in hotel with so delicious food and drinks like Pina colada and Coco lemon we truly recommend to taste it.

I like everything about hotel. The was big. The pool was big plus for hot days. The salon and breakfast area was historical and ND brought good memories. The decoration brought good memories. I will stay again and again at this place.

The place is beautiful with a great variety of places for family members to swim and play. We were varied age groups and there was something for all. Loved the river beach at the resort particularly. The service was exceptional. Everyone was so pleasant and helpful everywhere we went. We loved the food. Lots of options at the buffet. The Brazilian steakhouse was so much fun and delicious food. Trajinero was also excellent -- especially with Franky, our wonderful server who made the evening special. Best of all was the fusion restaurant. Sushi heaven! Thank you to Eleanor! The little ones also enjoyed the Teppanyaki dinner with the knife juggling and fire displays. Guest services was very helpful setting up all of our reservations in the weeks before our trip. My son surprised the ladies with spa treatments Mulak and the massage was one of the best I've had. I wish I caught the name of the woman who did the treatment (Patrice??). She was excellent and the ambience of the place really adds to the experience. We also enjoyed the parks and went to the three close ones - Xcaret, Xenses, and Xplor and had fun at all. The included shuttles came more frequently than the 20 minutes advertised -- a welcome surprise. It was a pleasure to have everything included -- transportation from the minute you land until the last trip to the airport, food and lockers at most parks.

It was an unforgettable experience! It was out of this world. We truly felt like it was an experience for our senses. One thing I can say is that the photos don’t do it justice. I tried to capture it but it’s not possible! You are immersed in another world and there’s so much to explore. You will feel truly relaxed. So many little nooks & crannies. Big kudos to the artists that created this space and the architect of course. And finally a big thank you to the staff who make the stay so enjoyable. Our biggest thanks is to Luis Poot who works as a waiter in the breakfast area Alixa - he’s a fantastic person and we enjoyed meeting him very much!! Thank you Azulik - what a place you’ve created!

We traveled with kid and there was so many activities for him! Loved the kids club! kids didn't wanted to leave kids club! Amazing organizations there when kid can tell when he wants to leave and internet in property is so good that it was always so safe to leave him and get a message without worrying that I will not get a message! Kids pools and aqua park was amazing! There is so many things we liked that I can't even describe all of them! Food, cocktails, staff, entertainment, all was so good and I definitely enjoyed every minute there!

Everything was amazing. The beach view, the semi-private pool, and the staff were incredible and did everything to make us feel special. We were celebrating our friend’s bachelorette party, and we truly couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay. Breakfast was delicious. I would strongly recommend choosing Antigua or St Lucia instead. The destination is overcrowded with tourists, which takes away much of its appeal. Also, be very careful when selecting your hotel, as many resorts are located on the Atlantic Ocean rather than the Caribbean Sea, meaning the beaches and sea conditions can be quite different from what you might expect. In my experience, the best hotels tend to be adults-only resorts, which generally offer a quieter and more relaxing atmosphere.

In October Cancun was hot and humid.

In October Cancun was hot and humid. Within a few minutes of leaving an air-con room you are sweating. The town is built on tourism, there are gift shops everywhere. There are interesting destinations to visit from Cancun, but for me the town was of little interest.

Playa del Carmen is nice to visit with the beach only a few blocks from the downtown area. Xcaret is a must on your visit, we enjoyed this paradise archeological park full of natural wonders and Mexico’s culture in the middle of a jungle! Beautiful place!

Tulum has a lot to offer. It’s a really cool place.

Tulum has a lot to offer. It’s a really cool place. Don’t judge the book by its cover. A lot of the hotels don’t look real inviting from the front, from the street view. But there hidden gem when you walk into the front doors. You can walk almost everywhere, lots of shopping. People are friendly.

We absolutely loved Cartagena's Old Town!

We absolutely loved Cartagena's Old Town! The beautifully preserved historic architecture, countless dining options, charming shops, and local artists’ galleries made it a wonderful experience. It’s walkable and feels safe day or night. A great place to visit and spend a few days fully enjoying the atmosphere.

Good place to be the homebase for sightseeing and adventure (e.g. lost city, Palomino) while combined with nice beaches. Old town and harbour area is nice, great boot trips to surrounding beaches worth considerung.

San Andrés completely exceeded our expectations!

San Andrés completely exceeded our expectations! The weather was gorgeous, and the crystal-clear water is even more stunning in person. A trip to Johnny Cay is an absolute must—it boasts what has to be the most breathtaking beach on the island. Pure paradise from start to finish.

So many shops, and restaurants, all within walking distance, Everyone was so nice and helpful. What a Beautiful place to stay. We stayed at the Scuba Lodge, It was nice to charge food to your room, or stop in for a drink in the bar. There is so much going on in the evening time and so many things to do and see. There is a lot of pride on their island. Was hoping to find the pigs and flamingos, but was unsuccessful, but did see some beautiful sites and outstanding beaches while looking for them. Oer all an A+++ Highly recommended. Oh and I highly recommend going on the Aquafari, it was amazing to see the fish and sea life. Eating at El Goucho Steakhouse was Delicious, and the view was and ambience was amazing . Everywhere we went the ambience was a coffee house style. Wonderful!!!! And do take time to go to the Distillary, It was fun and educational. I highly recommend the Iguana Cafe outdoor eating by the Queen Anne Bridge.

It was my second visit to the DR and my first time to Santo Domingo. Zona Colonial is a nice area, very safe and they do everything to make tourists feel safe. You see a lot of police in the area. Enough restaurants to chose from.

Plenty of parking on the street you don't have to stay at a hotel on the beach to be there and there are trees you can sit under for free if you don't want to pay for chairs. It is as beautiful as any beach I have ever been on. Pristine white sand with good surf/ waves warm ocean water.
